Just saying it's not impossible. Don't trust it? don't sell/buy.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
so they said that the lisk will be launched at the end of the month, on which date exactly? we have still no exact launch for this? are they planning to delay it soem more, because the waiting is building mess with some exchange and their IOU

I know it won't happen--and I'm not really too bothered by it--but since launch is delayed, I wish the devs would help the community set up some way to trade stakes. It's not as impossible, as it's made out to be, there's always a way to trade something if there are people willing to buy.

All we would need is someone trusted, not even necessarily a dev, who would keep a spreadsheet of buyers and sellers. Buyers and sellers would do an escrow deal as well as tell whoever is in charge of the spreadsheet. The seller would give the buyer their passphrases and whatnot and both would also confirm that they are about to do a trade with the person in charge of the spreadsheet. The seller would tell this person their email that they used to setup their lisk ICO account. Anyone who claims to have lost their private keys would need to talk to the person in charge of such a spreedsheet. If they sold their stake, they can't get new passphrases.

Of course this person in charge would need to be trusted, but there's definitely a few trust-able members on these forums who might do this if we gave them some btc/lisk.

Just a thought..

LiskHQ, be careful with it...

such yobit, much limited supply

This is becoming more risky, I hope the holders buying there don't be desperate guys needing fast money.

Since it does not affect the confidence here until launch, it's all right.

I am announcing my plans for a profitsharing delegate node called Full_Fat_Profitshare on the Lisk network.
...
If the community is not happy with more than one node per person, I will withdraw this proposal and just run the single node.

...
This is a malleable project, I am open to suggestions and/or criticism...... interested?
As history shows - profit is important. Most of community the support of those who pay more.
They do not care about security and other such things. If the system is designed so that one person/group can grab the most of delegates - it can happen.
So, if you can maintain and provide to an active delegates several nodes - do it.

And I'm don't want to support those who because of their greed wants to be an active delegate taking all the profits themselves.
Did you create nodes for Crypti? What? Is't not profitable? Ok.
Furthermore, some characters which was spread FUD and harmed the community is now asking to vote for them. It's ridiculous.

So, I plan to vote only for pools (profitsharing delegates) and maybe for some developers or other useful members.

I'm going to do the same. Vote on profit sharing nodes as I think that is the only fair way to go. Especially with the insanely high payouts they are currently getting.

That said, I do think the profit sharing delegates should rethink their rates. Most normal mining pools only take 0.5-2% of the mined coins for doing basically the same.

For LISK owners will be interesting to calculate for who to vote to maximise their profit. Votes can earn profit from many pools.

I am announcing my plans for a profitsharing delegate node called Full_Fat_Profitshare on the Lisk network.

Firstly, this is a sockpuppet BCT account. I have another account which has Senior Member rank, but I do not wish to use it for this project since I don't want to have to moderate my opinions, which I would have to do if I just used the one account for everything.

I have another delegate on the testnet called Sponge_Avengers_Node which I am only using for testing purposes. This node will be withdrawn when Lisk goes live.

So, what's the plan?

My idea is to run an active delegate node that gives 90% of the delegate reward to users who vote for my node in direct proportion to the voting power given to my delegate. Payments will be made regularly using one of the Dapps that is being coded now by several people, they will be made as quickly as the Dapp and economy (tx fees) allow, so as not to have large amounts of Lisk sitting in the wallet. There will be a website where all information will be available in real time - I will likely need a bit of help with this, but it's not massively complicated. DDoS protection will also be employed, if feasable - I am still looking into this.

If this delegate gets into the top 75, I will start a second delegate under the same criteria, but paying out 95% to voters. The idea here is that there is no point being at the top of the list and there would be more profit available by starting a second delegate. Any delegates after this will also pay out at 95%. If the community is not happy with more than one node per person, I will withdraw this proposal and just run the single node.

The delegate is running now on the testnet, it's called Full_Fat_Profitshare, somewhere around rank 420 360 274. Please vote for it now, even though it's a test, because it will allow me to gauge interest in the project.

The delegate is running on a Vultr server in Australia at the moment, I won't bother to give any other specs, you can be assured that it will always be up to the job.

I have lots of experience in email server installation and maintenance, I am technically literate.

This is a malleable project, I am open to suggestions and/or criticism...... interested?

Edit:

I am going to re-jig the reward part of the plan. If the community is happy with it, I shall organise it so that the highest ranked delegate pays out 90% and lower ranked nodes pay out 95%. This is to help keep nodes from falling off the bottom of the 101 because people will be more tempted to vote for the higher paying delegate.

I'll vote for you Sponge.
Hope to get your vote back

The price of lisk in yobit is insane if that price stays until the launch then we have a very happy sig-whores and all their alts raking some BTC without investing.

lets see how the market goes once every one gets his stack, Yobit is doing a pretty good job imo

Right, I thinking in same way,  pools delegates will dominate and will end "vote for me and I vote for you"

different strokes for different folks.  It's not just about number of votes you get but the quality of those votes to increase your approval rating.  I'll vote for whoever asks me for a vote until i'm filled up or even split my coins up to spread out to more votes.

If you guys want to be rich, the way is clear now, just have balls like the Yobit guys and set a decent price at launch.

on the first price going down they will sell, you will see. its for good. you cant stop it.

all this pre-teenage talk here is lunetic, but was not different on other coins. it will stop after they sold 'with profit' and can buy a new game with the money. Whales going to have cheap coins and the price can rise.

A big master said once before:

"FUD is strong, never underestimate the power of FUD. Use the power of FUD to sell your coins. I can help you to feel your FUD (and then some FOMO). FUD will make you getting rich by selling your coins fast after the start and the first slope."
