Where can i find informations about the legal statut of Lisk?
it is a non-profit association?
a company?
individuals receiving donations?

thanks

Max has already conceded that there is no incorporated entity yet.

At this time it is Max, Axel Hellinger (a German lawyer), and Paul Klanscheck (of Coinimal but acting in a personal capacity) who control the funds on a 2 of 3 vote to release. Oliver has no technical involvement in releasing funds. Not sure why that is. There is no CFO.

In essence at the moment it is individuals receiving donations.

There is risk in Lisk, but if they were to misappropriate funds there would be legal and other consequences regardless of the wording of the Agreement. Would anyone ever consider touching Mark Karpeles again?

No way 8+k bitcoin was invested in this project by different users, i believe a large portion is from devs themselves.

You can't prove it either way so your point is moot...

here nobody can prove nothing, so we are two groups, one that can prove nothing and the other one can't prove anything.
It's an endless fight. That will have only one winner, the one that was right.

What if it was?

admission?
This kind of thing are the same for every coin, in every ICO dev buy the whole supply, in every free coin dev get the whole supply.
And then there are people like you that own nothing.
And when I say nothing I mean nothing to proof what are you saying, so dev can't admit anything since you can't proof the anything.

No, not knowing, just like you.

But again, what if the developers invested in their own project?

How do we know the BTC isn't reinvested by the people running the ICO?

We'd like to see the address that holds all the BTC from the ICO and to make sure none of that BTC is being reinvested in itself.

We?

You...

You can exclude yourself from wanting to know details. However there are plenty of others that would feel more comfortable to see where it is and how it's used. That said - they just responded that it is in cold storage until it gets out of escrow. It'll be interesting.

The devs could have also just borrowed a few thousand BTC for the ICO then they overpay/overspend themselves following year and pay-back the loan. Easy way to own 50% of the company for free  Smiley
Company ?? mouhahaha

Why are you using the word "investors" guys? Donators is the word.
You think you bought shares or it's investment or something Huh

Why ask?

There are 2 scenario's that could happen if they want to scam us:

- the coins are in hands of the Lisk team and they run away after the ICO
- the coins are in hands of the escrow/Coinbase and they could still run away after the ICO

I go for scenario 3:

- everything is fine, you get your Lisk and Lisk moves to the exchanges, development continues

Because the Lisk team also holds a nice amount of Lisk, they have enough incentive to make it successful.

Because it is in cold storage controlled by Coinbase. It is also in a vault, which is locked by an escrow (allegedly).

I won't bore you all with the nitty gritty details but due to the technical failings of Wankfest (aka Coinbase) it seems i will be unable to access any more of my bitcoin stored there before the ICO closes.

As i don't leave much fiat in exchanges and it's now the weekend that route to buying more BTC is also closed off to me before the ICO closes.

Any recommendations as to how and where i can buy and access BTC before the ICO closes?

after 1 year.....

1. bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. Lisk
4. bla bla bla
5. bla bla bla

We should talk also about augur ....  augur is more interesting that lisk (just my personal opinion, from a technic point of view).

Right, but augur is a decentralized app, Lisk is a platform.. We can make many Augurs with Lisk Wink

I don't get it either. One of investors tracked down his transaction to an address with 3000 BTC the last time I checked. Why devs can't provide all addresses with ICO money?
