Not sure why a rebranded Crypti gets 8k btc invested in, crypti has 500k marketcap, what makes people think forking it and changing the name will be the new ethereum?

Skipped the ICO, waiting for trading to begin.
There is always time after the ICO when the coin is cheaper than the initial price.
It will bounce back but if you can buy cheaper coins why not? Weak and unpatience hands will always shake and BTC gathered from ICO by devs can be used to buy Lisk at lower price.

It seems this coin is just Crypti forked and rebranded, basically 8k btc invested in Crypti with a new name wtf? Am i missing something? Want to invest small amount but the project seems little shady.

What will lisk do better or equally as ethereum?
nothing this is different from ethereum.
Literally better than Ethereum.
Its sidechains are separated from main chain
It's easier to learn (JS Based)
It rewarded early birds
It learned from Crypti's mistakes
It has a corporate model rather than foundation
Has more representation in different regions of the world
It can do everything Ethereum can.
When this gets rolling soon, I'll be making use of Lisk to help the Philippine technology make decentralized applications mainstream

As I saw in the past, all the people waiting the last minutes to invest in the ICO. 11-12 K will be the end as I think.

so is this coin at risk, that warning seems scary enough, again another way to scam or everything is fine, can the dev deliver more news about the matter?
As far as I know, the Lisk team have not receive any statement regarding coinbase investigation on certain transactions.
In my opinions, this is all common fud to halt or slow down the ICO.
ah i see that user is spreading fud on purpose, i thought he was affiliate with the dev, what's the poiint of this, the investment is fixed on the ico, and there will be no dumping under current price of investments

With "refund address" I had a freudian slip and meant "return address". In the case a ShapeShift exchange (all exchanges besides BTC and XCR) is malfunctioning on ShapeShift's part, then they automatically (in most cases) return the money involved.
Regarding the XCR refund (which is possible for 1 month after the ICO, read more), we will use the address you sent the money from. However, you can always mention another address during our refund conversation.
