This industry is pure fiction
Maybe I don't know enough about the LISK concept. I have a question:

Can LISK sidechains be with integrated with any blockchain, or is development confined to the LISK blockchain? Can LISK be used to create an "Internet of Chains" as opposed to "Internet of Things"?

So, could I use LISK to write a sidechain that unifies something between 10 different alts, for example (with the LISK blockchain acting as an intermediary)? Or am I restricted to the LISK blockchain?

I just saw that YoBit has the option to add coins to their dice game. And for only 0,5 btc they also email the news about the new coin to their users. @LiskHQ until there are some lisk apps for gambling this is a very cheap and great promotion in my opinion... When the coins will be available of course Smiley

I would couple this with mobile wallets, getting some exchanges on board for trading of the coin, a good marketing budget and then further on ATM contracts (first off add them to existing BTC ATMs and later maybe even Lisk only ATMs...).

YoBit is on our list. Thanks. Didn't know the dice game, will take a look at might contact them at launch. Wink

Thank you. Smiley

Please no Yobit.... they launch fake ICO's to solve liquidity problems... same for BTER... you should not link your name to them...

But that's just my thoughts...

From a professional standpoint, I have nothing to say about the reputation of Yobit. Personally however, I would not like to see Lisk associated with Yobit.

As I've heard some people affectionately call it, "Yolobit."

Being on an exchange does not mean we are associated with it. I just said they are on our list. Not that we are actively trying to get added there. Wink

Fair enough. For future reference, just make sure to stress that point - that there is no official affiliation.

Will do. Thanks. Smiley

Any rational investor will look past the surface, in order to see what is affiliation, and what is not. That being said, I can not say that all investors are rational. Human nature has a tendency to dictate some individuals pockets. Wink

Usually I would say more the merrier with exchanges, but in this case I agree with you. Only reason to use dinky exchanges is if a coin can't initially get on either Bittrex or Polo. Strange as it sounds to say this, Poloniex is one of the big boys now, so guess that should be the main goal to start with.

I haven't kept track of  the Chinese exchanges, but ideally the coin would get on one of those too (and obviously not Bter).

Just some thoughts. I think Nxt model isn't gonna work anymore. I mean when only a few people invest a few bitcoins and have a good ROI because initial market cap is ridiculously low. New working model is Ethereum model. When ICO collects thousands of bitcoins and start in top 10-20 coins by market cap, but later fly over the moon because of huge development and marketing fund.
Yeah, the NXT ICO was totally crazy.  21 BTC cap with 1 BTC max back when BTC was under $200.   Absolutely insane.  A whale was a guy who spent $200, had 5% ownership of the coin, and had holdings worth $4M when NXT popped to its highest market cap of $80M.

I came in too late to be a whale, still did very very well in NXT, then rode it all the way into the dirt when it crashed.  Those were the days.

Theoretically how many TPS Lisk network can handle?

I'm sorry if already answered.

Anyone?? This s very important question dev...

Hello,

Coming from Crypti we don't have such a test yet, that means we can't give a final answer. We will definitely test it in the future though!

I would suggest Knownhost.com. Been with them for 4 years and never had a problem... Support staff average response time is under 3 minutes.

Is Lisk.io down or is it just me?

Yes, unfortunately it's offline. The data center on which the site (and also the faucet and web login) is hosted has some problems.  Undecided

We hope they will resolve the problem as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
