was a genuine question, is there any recent news on status?

Yes, the team is busy working on their published roadmap, but does not post here much, for instance they just released a beta of:

Lisk Hub 1.10.0-rc.1 release notes and download: https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-hub/releases/tag/v1.10.0-rc.1

thanks, thats what i was after.

is anyone still using lisk?

good question. I left months ago.
we would like to know practical uses of this coin.

What are you whining about? Ever tried to build a working functional dapp platform? Even Charles Hoskinson from Cardano team said a year ago that no one should expect a working product till 2020 on Cardano platform.

do I understand from your phrase that there is no working product until now for lisk ?

What happens when you make a coin with a supposed tool (javascrypt dev) and no one shows up?

Hi,
What wallet is better to use with Ledger Nano S? Liskish or Lisk Hub?
If I will create an account in Liskish with Ledger, can I use this account with Lisk Hub?

There is no reason now not to use Lisk Hub as Ledger Nano S is supported.

But, for some reason, it's recomended on the Ledger website to use Liskish...
Does Lisk Hub download the whole blockchain, or it's lightweight?

Lisk Hub does not yet support the LNS, per there website: https://lisk.io/hub - scroll down to the Upcoming Lisk Hub Features section.
For now you must user the Liskish wallet with the LNS. Once Lisk Hub supports the LNS, you will not need to transfer your coins again.
So account created with Ledger in Liskish will work in Lisk Hub and there will be the same address?

Correct, your address is on the ledger, so you can use any future wallets with it.

Clueless!
nope. No dapps, no sidechains, no dynamic fees.
Somehow they're dev´ing and dev´ing, but without palpable result. New landing page here or new background color there.
Most active part are their greedy delegates incl. forced-voting or shady "unvote the others" campaigns.
Stagnating resp. slightly decreasing followers at Twitter and Reddit. Many salty community comments at both platforms.
on the whole, that should be the current state.

yep, that pretty much sums is up..thou on here and other places I've actually 'asked' if anyone is a javacrypt developer and ever looked at doing
something with LISK with their skills (folk on bitcointalk) and have NEVER gotten a reply in this thread or others that any of them have ever looked
at LISK as a javascrypt guru of any skill level.

There will be plenty of Javascript developers working on projects in the Lisk centre incubators in Xiamen, China, & Tokyo, Japan. Both funded by lisk HQ and community.
The Tokyo one is covered in my Lisk Highlights roundup this week......  https://medium.com/@LiskHighlights/lisk-highlights-from-21st-25th-january-2019-70f483f777a3
Their twitter is here...... https://twitter.com/EliteCenter_

Then there is a third Lisk centre incubator opening in Utrecht, Holland. Community driven and supported by Lisk HQ, this Lisk center with its over 200 square metres of office space will act as a shared working space for those building within the Lisk ecosystem.
It's grand opening is on February the 21st!
Their twitter is here...... https://twitter.com/LiskCenter

That's not to mention the Lisk centre incubator I have hear rumoured for the United States.

I realize it is hard to keep up with all the developments in all the different projects, so I have a twitter feed that covers all Lisk stories here....... https://twitter.com/HighlightsLisk and in a telegram push group here....... https://t.me/LiskHighlights

I hope this info helps.  Smiley

what about the 'small' javascrypt developer...any of those? That was my main thought on this project. A few crypto rich guys doing hubs someplace
was not the kinda 'depth' I thought of when the project was released. You can toss a rock in this Univ town and hit someone who knows javascrypt.

Anyway, not a big enough base yet probably with this project to justify the current $1.25 price IMHO. A bit more encouraged by your post but not much.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
Wasn't list supposed to be about small ICO or Dapp adoption? Like games and stuff for devs that could only code in Javascript, kinda an ETH - lite?

Seems like that is happening moreso over on Tron, EOS, even ETH...

I'm going purely off CoinMetrics #'s. Happy to be proven wrong.

BTI is the real liskcoin Wink hehe

Yes it does.
I presume that landing page will be updated over the upcoming week.

"We are happy to announce the release of `Lisk Hub 1.9.0-rc.2`

This release brings compatibility with the latest Ledger Nano S firmware 1.5.5

Lisk Hub 1.9.0-rc.2 release notes and download"

1. Connect and open your Ledger device
2. Install Lisk on Ledger Live
3. Open Hub's sign-in page
4. Click: Lisk on the device
5. Click: 'Ledger' below passphrase on Hub
6. Pick your account on 'Accounts on Ledger’

You forgot to mention that there is no SDK yet either. LISK is sliding down the coinmarketcap rankings and they don't seem to be phased by it at all. It's as if they are simply stringing investors along and dragging it out as long as possible until we get an announcement of really bad news
