I have been mining on your feathercoin pool for almost 24 hours without 1 single payout. Any idea what is going on? I will switch to somewhere else until I figure out how much time and energy was wasted while I was not home.

Hi, is there a chance you can add stratum support? And if you already have, how do I connect to stratum proxy?
stratum appears to have some issues w/ p2pool atm. i know that mine reponds much slower than the long polling to new work. toggling the fix-protocol option in cgminer dropped my DOA from about 10% to 5% (180ms latency)
i guess you could test it yourself by running concurrent instances of some stratum miner + non-stratum miner. maybe it doesnt happen to everyone

P2Pool.org already supports stratum mining.
Simply point your miners to p2pool.org:9332 and it should detect stratum.
If not come back here and I will help further.

Another update!
I noticed a lot lately that Bitcoin mining has been very unstable due to a configuration error.
Thanks to Eleuthria of BTCGuild he showed me a solution that should correct the issue.
Thank you to everyone who mines at P2Pool.org!

To be honest, I have never seen p2pmining.com until recently when he shut it down.
I messaged him to get the source at one point so that I can payout NMC merged mining but he never responded.
My dedicated is located in Santa Clara, California.
Well he's back (Jaycoin). If you could figure out NMC and Devcoin merged mining, I'd be happy to switch over to your pool.
Sorry to hear about your service getting ripped off, hopefully they will take it down/do their own thing.

I need to figure out how to payout NMC and other merged coins then I will add them.

That is perfectly normal on a P2Pool node.
Nothing to worry about.
One thing I do suggest is not queuing shares while mining on P2Pool.org.
You can do this by adding "queue" : "0", to your config file.
This helps reduce stale shares.

Got a demonstration URL for each crypto-currency right now that displays pool hash rate, your hash rate, and your current earnings.

I will give out the NMC per request.
I have no way at this time to automatically send payments.
As for the fee, pools cost money to run, my time, server cost, etc.
I think that is a pretty fair and generally not even noticeable fee.
I could offer 0 fees and like every other pool that does this disappear in a month because I won't make enough income to run the server.
