Is there any way to view how many (or percentage of) stale / invalid share what I submitted?

There was a DB issue with the new EU server. Everything has been resolved now. Please try again and let me know if its still a issue

All the servers resolve to same address.  Are we waiting for DNS propagation?

And we've been on the same block for almost two hours.  Is this normal variance?

Code:
Est. Avg. Time per Round   0 Hours 19 Minutes
Time Since Last Block   1 Hours 57 Minutes

That would be due to the downtime as well as change in share difficulty and of course PPLNS variance. All servers are pointing at US at the moment but they will be switched back shortly. I want to make 100% sure everything is ok before i get users to jump on it so im the only one mining on it at the moment. Should not be to long.

If you set you miner to that address it will be a automatic switch.

Probably just variance if I had to guess.

I'm showing 0 shares when my workers are connected to stratum.eu.give-me-ltc.com via stratum mining_proxy. The miners are hashing correctly though and there was no authentication errors.. Shares are given correctly when pointing mining_proxy to stratum.give-me-ltc.com

Is it a bug or am I missing something? Sad

Hey all, pretty new to this mining thing. Just jumped over to give GML a try.
Liking the website and all the graphs, nice work so I put in a donation on my account. If the LTC/day estimate on the stats page pays out I'll be very happy Smiley

No idea what stratum is as I have only been messing around for a week with mining. Figured my gaming PC should be earning some money while I am at work.

Cheers.

The round shares have been increased due to the share difficulty being lowered down to 16. I do believe some of the changes took us finding a block to kick over properly. Ive been keeping a close eye on everything over the last few days.

I think we are ready to put auto switch on we just have to add stratum support to the EU server.

on stratum, 70 hours testing:

1,3% stales.

now this pool is seriously away from competition. congratulations.

Stratum support has been added!! Cheesy

wow, allready?

there is no automatic swich, you need to send the X-Stratum header fot cgminer and other stratum compatibile miners swich to stratum automatically without new config.

Hey, that's the plan. At this point I know that there are a few miners without stratum support on their miners so we are going to give everyone a few days to switch over before we auto switch.

from my experience auto-swich != geting-rid-of-getwork,  bitminter, emc, slush and more all have auto swich and still working with getwork on older miners.

p.s.
what changed the calculation of luck chart? [yeah, and made me panic like a moron on PM's]
I remember caclulating the old number of shares per block and finding it correct, but now the new one is.

Beautifully done pool.  I have less that 4% stales or otherwise rejected shares over the past 36 hours, and that is with heavy overclocking.  The web interface is great!  I see no reason to mine any other pool, unless you are a pool-hopper.  Burnside's is good, but does not yet support the Stratum protocol, and I get a much higher reject rate there, too.  Come on in, the mining is good here!

Thanks very much for all your help guys - stratum proxy all up and running OK here now.
That's another 120kh/s off of getwork and onto stratum.  Cool
Once bitcoin diff hits 10M I will switch over all my GPUs - that should boost the pool a bit.  Grin

Thanks very much, that pointed me in what seems to be the right sort of direction:-
I am now running slushs mining proxy v1.5.2 with these parameters:  -o stratum.give-me-ltc.com -p 3333
It seems to be working and passing through LONGPOLL messages but not supplying any work; so no accepted shares??
Or is it actually working but won't tell me until it reaches 32 accepted shares (because of difficulty 32) ?
I'm only doing 60kh/s with 11 cpu cores on this machine so that could take a while  Grin
I have another machine I will route via this proxy but want to get this machine working OK first.

Is it possible to use CPUminer with something else to make it work over stratum?
If not, what CPU miner do you recommend?

(I am using Windows 7 and CGminer seems not to do CPU mining in Windows binaries).

you can see if the stratum proxy works with CPUminer. If you pm or email me ill be happy to send you some instructions Smiley
