A happy family is but an earlier heaven!
Hi Idev

I do not understand why your MAG wallet almost always runs 100% CPU? How do I scan this? What's wrong with MAG?

Can you explain to us peace of mind?

Guys.

My magnet wallet won't sync. Just stays like that, no movement whatsoever. Firewall is not blocking. Other wallets sync just fine.
What can i do?

hello,

i tried to get mei mn run yesterday, but i have some serious problems with the windows wallet. I had to completly deactivate all windows antivirus software /defender, firwall, livetimeguard...), otherwise the wallet.exe always got autodelted...
so no firewall, no antivirus, and when i start the wallet, i still get no connection to the network. I tried it with different machines. xios and saga wallet are running just fine. Somebody having the same issues or know what to do?

//edit: solved it by reading through the posts so thanks, forgot to edit the config file.
merry xmas, cheers

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
This is the season for change!
Magnet is still a small network, but this Christmas we donated around 5000$ (0.33 btc) to three different causes listed below.
This is Our way of giving back and promoting hands-on approach to charity in crypto.

Hi!
I'm trying to install a masternode on the VPS (Ubuntu 16.04 server). I do everything according to the instructions from the site. After starting I get:
root@aruMN:~/magnet# ./magnetd
./magnetd: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.62.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What am I doing wrong?
Hi Mike,

You would need to compile against your version of boost on 16.04. If you are installing a fresh VPS and have the possibility to upgrade to Ubuntu 17.04 then it would be the easiest way to go. Otherwise please let us know (and join us on Slack) as we can assist either way (compiling from source on your system).

Was about to buy the coin, but there are 2 posts in the  last pages claiming its a virus in your wallet. Would you at least care to comment on this?
Sure, as we cared to comment several times before on this thread, this is a false positive. The wallet has been submitted to Microsoft for whitelisting. In the meantime (if Microsoft ever decides to whitelist it) the source code has always been available since day one publicly so any malicious code is unlikely: https://github.com/magnetwork/magnet/tree/master/src

Hello everyone!

Every masternode has the same chance to get rewarded ? Does not affect the reward tine the number of MAGs in the masternode?

I mean, I have enough MAGs to set a new masternode, and thinking in setting another one.

Some replys ago I read about the staking queue ... Could some explain it? Probably will put some light to the PoS noobs here (like me).

Thanks in advance
The amount sitting on your wallet would not affect the rewards. In theory you could send another 10K to the same address and use the tx id to setup the new masternode but I would recommend to create a new address (same wallet) so you can easily figure out which masternode has receive the reward (rewards would be sent to pubkey).

Check out post above for more information about PoS mechanics.

Hi!
Tell me please, how many coins do you get from the MN per day?
Over the past week, the payoff has fallen?

Check out my spreadsheet to figure out your chances of getting rewarded over X period of time:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zpXanRYZsWBPbHDEJpKX0jp9lkhXI1nRiJq9TgO1RjY/edit#gid=0

Basically you still have over a flipping-coin chance (53.28%) of getting a reward every 8 hours but keep in mind that these are odds, your masternode could be falling into the 1% that would not get rewarded in 48 hours.

Here are some actual stats from 5 random Magnet masternodes over the past 6 days (18/12 to 23/12):

Cryptopia might happen although with BTC being so expensive the entry fee 5 btc looks a bit out of our reach at the moment, but we are looking for ways to do this.
We will list ourselves on an exchange in Q1 of 2018. It is sometimes months long process to get listed depending on how big the exchange is.
o

Thank You for support and i hope this helps!

Guys, you need to get listed on other exchanges ASAP!
Right now your whole ecosystem depends on one exchange. if anything happens to it the coin will suffocate.
Also if the mining becomes less profitable you will start loosing hashrate, because miners will start switching to other coins.
You need to drive the price up. Even a small exchange will do.

Have you negotiated with Yobit? their entrance fee is 0.1btc:

Code:
https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/
To add a new coin to Yobit please you need to fill out the form below.
Payment method: YobiCode
Listing type:
• Free - 0.00 btc - no guarantee
• Premium - 0.1 btc - 4-7 business days (no guarantee in case of compilation issues)
• Exclusive - 0.5 btc - 2-3 business days (no guarantee in case of compilation issues)
Please register and create Yobicode here.
