Imo the pink colour has to stay, it definitly stands out from all the other cryptos.

Suggestions welcome.

Original is in 4096x4096, any required size can be done.

I've created a video showing the process for claiming Bitcore via the airdrop using your Bitcoin QT wallet or Blockchain.info wallet.

What am I doing wrong? I have a BTC balance. But I write - Error : Sorry, No Balance on Snapshot - Block 463604 ! Please try again...

Snapshot was block 463619 (minted : 2017-04-26 17:10:01). Any BTC aquired after it will no not able to claim BTX. Also, check if any extra space when you paste your BTC address.

i think what in a few days happend here is a little wonder
i dont try to think ahead what can become out of this
and that u can estimate each single BTX u able to gather will most likely become 11 BTX in 6 months
make BTX crazy valuable and by that very hard to catch now

good luck by try get some more BTX into ur wallet

Exciting project.   I have a few questions:

1.  Why is the claim period only 6 months?  Why limit it at all ...and if you do limit it, why only 6 months?  This seems like totally not enough time to gain wider acceptance of bitcoiners.  Also, if you only limit to 6 months and give everyone else massive amounts of bitcore, there will be massive dumps.

2. How is the claim period enforced in the code?

3.  What happens if I sign a message from my bitcoin address "123"... and then move my bitcoins to address "456" immediately afterward?  I still have the coins at 123 on the bitcore blockchain?

4. sorry if I missed it, but where is the blockchain explorer for this?

5. will there be any electrum implementation for this?

Thanks !

@limxdev and bitcore team,
Would you all be open to the idea of a new and better looking logo perhaps?

Hello jasonhopper2412,

yes the logo is a bit crazy but we think it has a special character.^^

Kind Regards Christian

how many coins do you get using the BTX Claiming-Service ?
im to dumb ... dindt work here  Roll Eyes

It depends on how much BTC have you got in your wallet...

That is right. You will be able to claim the same amount of BTC you have on BTC Block 462987 = 1628733,50 BTX (Snapshot 463619).

Hey Kryptowerk,
let me guess you use a ledger nano like me... so i also get this error in ledger software. i try electrum and get a message i should try to plug and unlplug the ledger to get a "secret" but it also
dont work for me so ive mail the ledger support and asking for it and they reply to me that its not possible to sign a message with a ledger nano over this app.

ledger is like a normal electrum seed, only way to sign a message with a nano is import your backup seeed into electrum and use it as a normal wallet and delete the wallet after this again.

Claiming BTX via signed message works like a charm. Congratz. I used Electrum here.

A little improvement suggestion for the devs: Add a description for the empty input-boxes @ https://www.bitcore.cc/

I do, however, have a problem signing my BTC address with Ledger. Whenever I try to do so, I get the message
Code:
Your device can only use a derivation path starting by 0'/0xb11e
I don't see any option to change this derivation path. Any suggestions anyone??
