Anyone using Sgminer to mine this coin? Can you please share your .bat file parameters? I think i am doing something wrong, which is causing the window to open and just disappear when clicked. This is what i have currently in the bat file:

sgminer.exe --kernel timetravel10 -o stratum+tcp://btx.suprnova.cc -u micky123.1 -p x

i use -i 18 -w 64 -g 2

Still does the same, do you see anything wrong with the line i have posted on here? I think this is how it should look anyhow! Sad

Edit: Guess i was missing the port, i updated that but still the same issue.

Very interesting coin ! I'm mining it with a GTX 980ti @14 MHs and GTX 1060 @~10 MHs

Did anyone had success to make an AMD miner work ? I tested the one provided on bitsend.info but it just seem to hang on without mining.
I tested it on a rig with 2 R9 290x (Crimson 16.6 driver).
Thanks for your help

TRY BITBANDI'S GITHUB--

I was able o compile and run his SGminer for BitCore (BTX) on my linux rig.  One note: if there is an error in your launch line, SGminer can hang and close even if it is able to run properly if launched correctly.       --scryptr

What happens if not many people claim their Bitcoin?  Do Devs take all the unclaimed?
I wonder if private keys for BTC can be reused for BTX. Is it not possible because hash algo was changed?

Anyways if we could reuse private key, we do not need to worry about ownership or thinking its significantly premined coin.

i think this will happen the claim phase is just for people who have coins storeed in a way where its difficult access the private key but u can easy sign messages

all BTC owners who dont participate in the claim pahse will later on get their BTX send towards the same address as on BTC chain so basically u can claim  without timelimit with private key in your local wallet

but i think some dust amounts will not be spread and give the bitcore team some leftover funding for future development

as i trust this guys it will be sure below 1% total coins

Then I guess it is matter of when is the time to spend the dust or leftover. We have to trust the developers. In the case of Byteball, there is a point when we do not need to worry about premined coins. Once the distribution phase is completed we know that there are only 1% of coins are owned by the founder. However, for BTX, we will never know. At certain point, developer may decide now is the time to use the left over. But no one will know when that time would be. I think that this can be an issue in the future. We can view this coin as significantly premined coin.

I think I know what the ccminer crash is about, see the ccminer btctalk thread.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-ccminer-23-opensource-gpl-tpruvot-770064

Thank you for the hint, I've changed a couple of lines in the code to use __thread variables and it seems to be stable for me now.
Looking forward to see how Epsylon decides to fix it.

i full support this project and do a bit promo inside my own crypto threads to spread the word

bitcore isnt a competition its a great new puzzlepiece in a ne crypto landscape
a prove of market readiness for bitcoin core code not in a testnet but a full coin

groestlcoin might do similar but it offer original bitcoin stakeholder not a share of the coins so i think BTX is more interesting

yes the idea is totally great. And for god sake no ico again

Minimum payout: 1 BTX

Can you lower minimum payout?
Currently BitCore will take a tx fee of "0.00029400" for each payment (regardless of the amount) that the pool sends to the miner. Currently pool pays this fee from pool balance which is just 0.5% at the moment. That is just 0.06251706 BTX for each block confirmed by the pool. If I reduce the minimum further, because of high number of very low amount transactions, pool balance will go negative  Roll Eyes
Also, please note that miners will see any balance on the stats page only after the mined block is confirmed.

3557 BTX already redeemed, that is like a proof off ~5.3M$ from all claimers !  Cool
