I like all the optimists, but ending Airdrops not guaranteed price increase, because it is lost the motivation to buy, for fast "dividends".
Good example Gbyte, after stopping share free bytes, price drops ever more.

Have you read about it?

"In May, the new development phase begins - Here are just a few tasks from the many the team is working on:
Note: all these updates were communicated by the team over the past few days / weeks

• Hardware wallet (Ledger nano completed task from Bitcore.) Ledger has to implement it but must fix its internal issues before.
• New exchanges (Many new listings recently on the smaller exchanges.) The team can not speculate nor pre-announce the future listings.

It seems real thing starts after the end of Airdrop, and that's fantastic because currently all that people see is just Airdrop Mondays. Undecided
They are not even interested in the story behind the scene, at least most of them aren't.

That's mostly human nature, and indeed some people right now see Bitcore as just a currency, and its technical advantages are not what has brought them in.

I think in addition to the Dev team's efforts planned for the phase after the airdrops, we as a community of cryptocurrency enthusiasts also need to spread the word about this project in any way we can; be it by word of mouth, posting on social media, blogging about it, etc. to increase Bitcore's profile even more and build brand awareness.

This way I think more people will become interested in this project based on its vastly superior technical specs rather than it being "that Bitcoin clone with free airdrops."

It is not a currency but that is no knock to Bitcore. There is still nothing in crypto that classifies as a currency. Until that happens...everything else, including Bitcoin, is simply a cash grab as far as I am concerned.

“Cash grab” is not correct at all Greg.
By that criteria, any marketable product or service that’s has utility is a cash grab.
Not only currencies can be traded or have value.
The current state of the market might be a bit “cash grabbish”, LoL.
But crypto at heart isn’t. We just have to work out the kinks as they arise, as a community.
Or with the help of some benign AI. I know you’d love that  Grin

The foundation to innovative digital storage would sound better.  Cause really, that's what blockchain is.  Web 3.0...new dotcom boom...mark of the beast?

Either way, lots of money in it due to it's global scale!

It will catch on Smiley

Bitcore (BTX) - The Future is Now
Why would someone accumulate for months, and then sell off at the lowest possible price?

If the accumulated value is higher than number of coins multiplied by the price, then it's profitable, even if the price is low.
For short term holders quick profit is the main (and probably the only) factor.

No one is gonna invest the time to accumulate and then dump at a low state, especially now with so many good things on the horizon.

Quick profit peeps won't have enough to drop price because they haven't been accumulating.

So at this point, the majority of coins are held by long-term holders and believers of the project who went through the bear market and the dip.

You're likely to see us hold even if price starts to climb again!

So where is the "dump" gonna come from?

Logical assumptions my friend. But one can not be too sure in this market.
Always best to be prepared for the worst, that way one can only be pleasantly surprised Wink
Only 2 more weeks left now, and then we will find out.

I’m HOLDING!!!   Grin

130k coins daily volume at this price.

Unless someone goes emo and bi-polar with a mid-life crisis, I don't anticipate big bags to be dumping.  Which is what it would take to drive price lower than it has been...

Lol.
stranger things have happened.
And of course we have btc and the rest of the crypto market to factor in also.
But I wouldn't be selling at these prices anyway. No reason to.
Most of the rough patches seem behind us, and moon is the next stop.
I'd rather hold and take my chances on a proven coin, with a great track record and top notch dev team.
Especially as we go into phase 2 of the project. Where all the good stuff will happen.
Seems like a no brainer to me anyway.
This "sell now, buy back in cheaper" only works with chump change.
When the amounts are higher, so are the risks of ending up on the wrong side of the fence.

Yes!  Thank you!

Sell now/buy back cheaper is a lot easier when dealing with low volume.  Huge risk dropping a large stack with hope to buy back in lower, that is why I never did it.

For me to properly cash out my coins would take a bigger exchange anyway, which is what I'm hoping for down the road.

After watching the video I feel a lot more confident in the teams efforts, and I'm in the position I don't really "need" the money anyway.

It's a long term investment for me!

I may break off some here and there down the road to fund some small avenues, but I want to see how the ATM integration and real world use evolves.

Many don't see the value in phase 2, especially when mathematically put up against supply and demand.

If we were able to hit $40 during bull market last year with inflation coming through airdrops and no real implementation yet, then imagine what could happen this year with little to no inflation and a world 1st accomplishment.

This is a very exciting time and I hope to be one that survives the major jump that everyone dreams of Smiley

I don't worry too much about correlation between BTC and BTX as much after seeing how we were so resistant towards it, there is a good chance BTH will take on BTC anyway this year...but with that in mind, BTX is definitely a sleeping giant!

I mostly agree, but dont forget the airdrops also lured a lot of people, so maybe that 40 bucks we saw was because of price rising + free coins airdropping.

come for the airdrop, stay for the tech  Wink

Approaching the end. Few airdrops left before we can start to see what's this coin real market value: it won't happen overnight but, as far as it concerns me, I have no intention to sell. I will wait to see if there will be some real world uses/integration and plan accordingly.

Adapt and adjust is key in this fast moving market.
