On chain transactions can't be compared to centralized off chain transactions.
LN will be a toy, that's about it.

Hi
What about " Bitcore Crypto puzzles"
Was planed for March 2018, any info in near future?
Thank you

I second this question. Make it showcase the SegWit support if possible! I'm wondering whether any of the new Lightning implementations are compatible.

IMO, Lightning Network will likely prove to be unsuccessful on multiple levels so I'm not even sure if there is anything desirable in implementing it.

Same thought here, but I think the devs and supporters would keep pushing for it until when it's clear that it's a silly little idea.

On chain scaling is really the only way as far as I see it. Storage constraints are not as relevant today as it was back in 2009.

you are right, i dont think we should talk about LN on bitcore. BTX already have upto 20MB block size with four blocks in the time of 1 BTC block. so we can handle 80 times (80 MB Vs 1 MB) more transactions than whole BTC network. Let BTC network try LN and we would see where it goes.

What are the requirements in order to join and qualify for the weekly airdrop for BTX?

Sign a btx address with the word AIRDROP and submit it here https://bitcore.cc/phpdrop/
1 BTX is minimal needed to receive the airdrop.

Thank You i got some free 20 BTX from BSD airdrop so joining the BTX airdrop too.. Cheesy

Thanks for the information.. Downloading the Windows wallet now!

They say that but one of my addresses has less than 1 BTX and it consistently gets the airdrop.

I really don't understand what would be purpose to register address without at least few BTX. Huh
Also I am under the impression that lot of people doesn't understand how to calculate percentage of something. Grin

Better alternative for coinmarketcap  https://coincheckup.com/

None of the CMC alternatives have the feature I use the most at CMC.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/siacoin/
https://coincheckup.com/coins/siacoin/charts

Can you see the difference? If there was a bitcointalk forum ANN thread, CMC always has a link to that thread. None of the alternatives have that. I hate to register to other forums every time I wanted to post my thoughts/ask questions about a project. This forum is the main information source for me. I want discuss Sia, Eth, Btc, Ltc all here in this forum.

Look at that:

Ethereum has a bitcoin(dot)com forum link in the resources section. Wtf?
https://coincheckup.com/coins/ethereum/resources

And yet litecoin has no ANN thread of bitcointalk,
https://coincheckup.com/coins/litecoin/resources

I admit coincheckup is one of the best alternative I've seen though. Lots of useful stuff packed in one place. (but still lacks goddamn btctalk ANN thread links.)
