GTX1060s: -i 23
GTX1070s: -i 23

It may depend on your card brand and OC settings, my MSI 1060 works stable on -i 23 but my Gigabyte 1070 has problems and crash with it. But works stable on -i 22
I also recommend bitcorepool.cc, works great, pays on time. I tried supernova, yiimp and umine, but bitcorepool.cc had slightly better rewards over 24h so i sticked with it.

Although I kinda wish the price stayed on 16-20 USD for another month, the mining difficulty increased heavily last few days.

It's as bad as everyone says but you probably didn't have your coins stuck / frozen on yobit for weeks or months (in some cases for years) that's why you think it's not as bad. I understand that it sucks not being able to buy with fiat on other exchanges but still, what yobit does, is simply theft and manipulation in some cases too.

had today 5 children in front of my door (part if the holy 3 kings thing, which i am still not common too because i am not of a christian confession)
i asked them about their aims for their project and got a prompt answer.
sadly i had not that much fiat in my pocket as i wish i would have at that time - and thinking about it after... why not donating in btx?

they could have get a large amount IF they would accept cryptos

Might have been better to spend those 0.5BTC on getting listened on the new Asian exchanges instead.

We won't be forced to use it. It will help bring BTX to the attention of more people. Some people use exchanges exclusively. The more places the Bitcore name is spread, the better.

Have yobit go into public contract that they will in no way manipulate the coin and I'd be ok with it. They are horrible about putting coins into maintenance and then dumping the profits themselves.

Would need to keep some type of SLA up time to allow BTX to be traded there just to be safe.

To receive free coins without using mining equipment, you need to buy some quantity of BTX (at least 1). Translate them from the exchange to your private wallet and register the address of your BTX wallet on the site https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php. The instruction is present.
