What is the best exchange to use for trading Bitcore now that Cryptopia is down? Are there any reputable and high volume exchanges we can use?
Exrates ( https://exrates.me ) is the one with most BTX volume at the moment but don't know much about their reputation.

good luck trying to sell anything on there. last time i checked the buy wall holding up the price was 0.0002 cents.
all of the trades are fake.
I also noticed recently there are new exchanges that just draw volumes.
Therefore, it is not surprising that any unknown coin can suddenly fly.
But in most cases, when these new coins are traded only on their pocket exchanges, if you want to sell it back, it turns out that something does not work or there are any trading restrictions.
So an attempt to make money on speculation in such coins is an extremely dangerous idea..

I am using HitBTC for 3 months and I did not get troubles. The exchange has improved the quality of services.
For another big exchange, Bitcore needs a better valua of the coin ^^'...

Last time I checked, exrates had most of the volume fake(like 90% more fake volume). Good luck.
Also its user interface sucks very much. It was a long time ago since I used that exchange (during the madness of btc forks) and I didn't like that exchange not one bit. I was able to get my coins but they randomly raised the doge withdrawal limits because of those fork coin dumpers and that raised a red flag.

You are right. This transaction is a good sign because of its transaparency. I think Cryptopia have secured Bitcore (BTX) funds on aother private key. I hope the platform come back online soon that you get back your remaining bags.
By now, Cryptopia exchange has been in maintenance mod.Their Twitter also has not mentioned about the return day.
Therefore, I think that we have to wait for too long period to see the come-back of Cryptopia.
Indeed, the Twitter account only says they have took back the keys of the officice. I do not want to speculate on this. I just hope it will be as fast as possible
Does anyone believe they can really make a comeback in this competitive market? Why should anyone entrust them with funds again. I think I wouldn't although I was lucky and didn't have anything there.
They blowed away any chance to make a comeback, that is for sure. They were one of the most used exchanges for the small marketcap coins. It's a shame they ended like this, maybe a person from inside made the runaway with the money?
It could have been anybody from the inside team and maybe a collaborative effort by all of them. The problem is that it is hardly possible to prove even for the investigators as the guys behind the exchange know how to destroy or not produce any evidence during their actions.

Who knows? ;P All the ERC20 tokens and ETH are gone for sure.
I do not think they will come back as a cryptocurrency exchange. However, they may come back to open a payback system for people who have still funds on their platform.
