It is quite profitable! actually one of the most profitable coins right now. 1070 gives 20 MH/s and 1060 gives 13,5 MH/s (i have both)
With 100 MH/s you get little over 1 BTX per day now... if you also calculate airdrops every monday it is a very nice result. Even with the price BTX is now... but it is expected to go all the way up, so in that case mine now, be happy later

Best is probably to buy some BTX now because it is relatively cheap, so you have some good earnings by airdrops every monday + keep minning so you get more.

It's a fork with a claiming service in which the devs are in control of a large amount of the total supply. They distribute to registered addresses. If you can put 100% trust in the devs this may be a good coin. My advise is exercise extreme caution with BTX.

It is a virtual fork , it can be claimed with btc but has it's own blockchain , so no 100+gb to download. Very fast coin and can handle a lot of transactions.
Devs have been proven to be trusted since april now.

Thanks for coinsmarkets exchange, now i can buy btx after selling new-fresh shitcoins there, conveniently.

That's a good way to look at it. I think coinsmarket may be taking the mantle from Nova Exchange for that purpose. They have egregious Bitcoin withdrawal fees, so it's almost a must to exchange any coins there into something that's better for transfer.
