How is this a fork of BTC if you have to sign addresses and all that to claim it? Why can't someone just take their BTC wallet and load it into the BTX chain and get their Bitcore coins that way?

The signing is only for the weekly airdrops to btx holders.

You can load your btc wallet.dat and get btx at 1:0.5 if you were holding btc on the nov snapshot though.

Where is the airdropped BTC coming from? Is BTX not mineable?

Why don’t you just go ahead and read the first page of this ANN, lots of great info there.
Much easier than me drip-feeding you sporadic bursts Wink

all scream for an other exchange, it is ok. i think too that we need a next good exchange, bit-z and hitbtc with the issus are not really comfortable. cryptonina is really good, but we need one that reach more people. Bittrex! Hm of course, is a big player but from time to time i hate bittrex..very slowly, high fees, and u must pay to get in. what about Binance, really nice exchange, good security, fast and reach the right people. Asia, EU, USA.
How it is with this exchange ?

But we have to do more attention and marketing for BTX to grow up

How long does the weekly Airdrop last? Will the reward always be 3% weekly? Where can I read these specifications?

However, congratulations is a really generous airdrop!

For  God Sake, read the first page of any thread.. Then ask questions...

Already it's 4% with +1% every month until airdrop wallet https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/address.dws?262.htm won't be empty.

Hi, guys,

I've installed a native bitcore-qt wallet for the purpose of participating in the related signature campaign (please, bear with me), and I want to check how the whole thing works. So is there a sort of facet or giveaway where I could get some free coins to see if I can receive and send this cryptocurrency? As far as I understand it, the airdrop facet at the official site will give me airdrops only if I already have some coins, which I don't. Or am I missing something here?

U are right, you need to have some so the 4% monday airdrop gives you 4% from your total BTX balance. You can buy it on several exchanges, we all recommend cryptopia. You can trade it there and than withdraw to your BTX wallet.

Or you can also mine it, there are several mining pools and the difficulty is good now, not to high. I have only one rig (6x 1060) and i get around 1 btx per day.

Which mining pools would you recommend personally? Is it possible to mine BTX with a decent multi-core processor today? Of course, I don't mean anything like mining for profit, just mine enough to withdraw and check how things stand in real life with this coin. Or should I ask someone to send me a minimum amount to my wallet? Obviously, I will return the funds immediately.

I suppose it's not so easy to get to Bittrex, they choose the coins to add themselves, you can't pay to be listed? Or am I wrong?

These annoying every day bastards don't understand.

So much hate in this thread. Why not work together on the prosperity of the project?
Bitcore is a very advanced coin and we will all benefit from it. Unfortunately I missed out so far, but I bought me some now, and am happy that I have done this.

Because a few people bought at the top (4x of current price) and they literally spam the thread with their hate. Investing in something that just went 10x in a couple of days and then crying how bad an investor you are... I've seen this all over the crypto space but usually these "trades" (xD) quit spamming after 3-4-5 comments. We got some ambitious ones here. Usually when you see a lot of despair in a thread, it means the price is low enough to be a good buy. Reload those guns gentleman Smiley

Haha, I like your thinking Smiley I also recommended BTX to a friend of mine and he bought in for $38... It was not the ideal time. Now the price seems to be low enough to buy more. Or would you wait a bit more?

from my point of view, the current price is cheapest. it will hit to 60$->80$ easy, if BTX list on Bittrex.  Roll Eyes

Our aber bist CMC I see the day CMC correct Bitcore supply as an important step up in the stratosphere and out. The figures of too day create confusion.
HODL and wait and buy more get Airdrops one day, we will be there. Smiley
Peace.
