I newbie can any one here explains how to register airdrop..i get this Error: BTX Wallet or SIGN Message is not valid

If your wallet is encrypted/locked and you don't know how to/don't want to decrypt it, follow these steps.
1.Open Bitcore
2.Click file
3.Sign message.

follow screenshot below.

When you click 'sign message' it will ask for your passphrase.

can I claim the APril BTC snapshot directly to a cryptopia address?

For the October 30th BTC Snapshot. I would have to use my BTC private key to claim the requivalent BTX?

The private key are only yours to keep. You do not give out your private key. If you're talking about your BTC for redeeming your Bitcore, you'd have to submit a signed BTC address to the the bitcore website. Your BTC wallet should have a signing feature/capabilities to be able to do this step. Smiley

can I claim them direct to an exchange address? (The april snapshot)

If you're talking about claiming the bitcores to an exchange address, as far as I know, that won't work, It has to be claimed by using your bitcore wallet address that you'll have to download to your desktop computer.

How do I perform the step of signing by BTC wallet so that I can claim free BTX on 30th?
For now I have done the step of registering by BTX wallet address along with the BTX address signed Airdrop message on the website here: https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php.
What else to do now? How do I make sure they make a snapshot of my BTC address where my BTC coins are?

I own BTX on multiple addresses in one wallet. Do I have to sign every address or is it enough to only sign with one address in the wallet?

And if not is there any way to send my coins from a specific address to another one? Or do I have to send the whole amount to a new own address?

If you'd like those addresses to receive the airdrop, you'd have to sign each addresses. Regarding sending coins to another address, i'm not sure but the coin control feature that could be found on the wallet itself might be able to help you with that

How to obtain the one time early bird wallet registration bonus?

Is it enough if I register my wallet tomorrow? Or do I have to do that today to be qualified for the one time drop of 43% on top of my BTX balance?

..like bright metal on a sullen ground.
I'm ready for the 6% airdrop tommorow.  Grin Grin

As am I buddy as am I. This is one of the quality airdrops out there not some bs coin made my scammy devs to sell in a second. There are actual good devs behind this project with great specs too.

The only minor downside I see is that it took 3-4 months to gain such traction among the bitcointalk community and now I am wondering why that is. Maybe we need to up our marketing game and

be able to get the bitcore name out there more? I know a lot of buzz will be created with this 25% drop and that is very good but what happens moving forward? Will everybody dump and move on

or will most individuals stick around for more drops? This is the hard part obviously but I just wish we were being more active in getting the name of bitcore out there!

I think one of the thinks that make the Airdrop successful is the way the distribution was handled, but it is a concern to me that alot of people show no interesting in claiming their BTC attached to their address, I don't know if the team approach also exchanges to help with this

Well looks like almost all the bitcore volume is on Cryptopia, so something tells me Cryptopia probably registered their bitcore address  Cheesy.  They'd be smart to anyway, since they've got the keys.  It's probably not feasible to keep track of their customers wallets and distribute bitcore to them because it's ongoing and not a one time distribution like stellar.

I think that the Big Game will only begin after 30th of October. It is not the end. For sure.

Agree. The 25% airdrop combined with the 0.4BTC distribution will make the market cap go from $6-7M to $40-$50M, which will place BTX in the top 100. More exposure will be created and more new traders/investors will come in. If the dev team have lock a major exchange, which is just a question of time, then I see $20+ price over the next 3-4 Months.

I'm hodling after the 25% airdrop.

..like bright metal on a sullen ground.
when I'm playing around with the online paper wallet generator
on the left corner bottom, I found a link to download source from github but it's for bitcoin
it seems bitcore is using exactly same address generator as bitcoin
any address created on either generator works/confirms on the other (both) network
am I right on this? furthermore, if they're identical...
would signature produce by bitcoin wallet also be verified by bitcore wallet?
I probably could answer this myself but my bitcore wallet keeps crashing when I run it
so... is the signing algorithm and result also the same for bitcoin and bitcore?

I tried this with the bitcore wallet and electrum, and the bitcoin wallet did not verify signed bitcore messages and vice-versa.

i tried signing with something bitcoin brainwallet thing that i expected to work but it didn't. i was pretty surprised as paper wallet generators work fine.

i signed ok with the bitcore wallet offline. now coinomi has added it, which is great, then that should work too.

I thought it would work too, and like you was surprised when it didn't. As you said though bitcoin addresses work fine. My guess is it's because bitcore wanted to incentivize people to download their bitcore wallet, so they changed the sign/verify algorithm. Otherwise, from launch of project, people could have done the entire signup without it. So makes sense from that perspective.
