In order to avoid dumps after the 25% distribution on 30th October, there is something that must be underlined....The 3% weekly will continue until any un-claimed token will be distributed...I know that but I thing it must be advertised even more...
So?

faster distribution, lower value of the coins, less happy people investing in it..

Sigh... You will get more people that want to use and invest in BTX if it is fully distributed to the public. That means demand would increase which inevitably would increase the price in time. I am telling you, especially in the market right now, people are extremely critical of projects with large pre-mines in which the devs control the coins. If we want larger adoption then we need to distribute those coins and then work to capitalize on the inborn advantages that BTX has over the rest of the market. If the nominal price decreases in the short term then so be it but if you are here for the long term then you should be extremely happy with your investment. If anything, I probably have more to gain and lose than most people here because of my fairly substantial holdings in BTX so I definitely wouldn't promote a plan that would have a negative impact on the coin. I am always astounded how people here tie price and supply together without factoring in demand. Supply and demand shifts on graphs to determine the market equilibrium for price are taught in lower level microeconomics courses.

So the poll is official ? What is voted there will happen?

Well we are still talking about the distribution but to me 3% weekly is too slow... The quicker it is fully distributed, while not shocking the market, the better for the future of the coin. My latest iteration is the devs plan with 10% weekly airdrops until it is fully distributed by late February. This is more gradual than the original hybrid plan of 25% of unclaimed coins being dropped at one time but still gets us fully distributed by late February.

Is anyone planning on going Long with BTX after the big drops?

What do you feel is the long term potential of BTX?

Could it keep growing in value?

What's your thoughts?

Of course! It scales better than anything on the market right now, it is gpu mineable, lightweight blockchain, bloom, etc. It can handle over 20 billion transactions a year right now which is about 5% of the worlds credit card transactions for a year. This far surpasses anything that bitcoin could ever hope to do right now without a serious overhaul. As far as I am concerned it is literally the best kept secret in crypto. We just have to get passed this distribution to get there.

Overclock your rig with MSI afterburner with +100 Core +500 Memory and you can get 33-34 MH/s per 1080 TI.

From where you have the Bitcore spmod2?

Sold to me on these forums.

it increased hash rate from 165 to 200 ( 7x 1080ti) 23.5 -> 28.5 per card
or about 21% increase in hash rate

Ask your question to this thread. I think there can help you better

k, also check out Yimps big hash rate decrees between 4 and 6 hours ago.  Seems like a lot of large pools could have been taken offline temp due to this.  I switched to the slower official binary.

I like the idea of giving the 40% to all public keys of the BTC, but i would maybe remove the big addys like everyone with more than 100 btc maybe.  Otherwise you will give alot of that 40% to exchanges & ICOs out there.   They would probably dump them as free money.

We should probably aim for < 1M$ BTC holders (maybe even smaller), most of them are pools, exchanges, icos, companies and alike.  Some are also big holders but i believe they can afford to buy some BTX if they want some.  Or if you at least place a cap of 100BTX per addy, so that way a big exchange that has 50k btc wont have 50k BTX.

What do you think guys?

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

The addy above 100 btc represent 62% of the total bitcoins, so they would receives 62% of that 40% drop!

Take the first one, it has 100k btc and its the cold wallet of bitfinex, do they really need those 100k btx?

I would rather prefer a small holder with 5 btc to receive 12 btx instead of 5

That is pretty interesting for sure!

I agree with your points here.  Very well thought out.  Should a high percentage of the drop go to so called 'whales', ico's and exchanges, the likelihood is that they will dump which is the last thing we want for this project.

Wonder if someone can help me out.

I have claimed BTX from my BTC wallet successfully into a paper wallet and it is showing up in the balance there. Now can someone tell me how I can spend/send these coins? I've tried sweeping the private keys into android wallet but it doesn't allow me to do it as it just shows a zero balance there. Downloaded the bitcore qt desktop wallet, but can't see anywhere that i can import/sweep the private key?

Thanks in advance!  Smiley
