That wasn't just pump & dump. April 23rd was the day Decentraland released their development SDK. The price spike seems to be the market responding to the team delivering something real. (Though of course, you can never count out "pump & dump" as a factor).

The price has climbed again since that initial spike, which shows that there's something real behind it. I agree it's going to take a long time for the Decentraland VR world to become a reality, but the more they deliver, the more valuable MANA and LAND will be.

I think Decentraland is trying to be "Second Life V2.0" but, from what I've seen so far, it still has a long way to go. This is a project you have to really believe in and if you have bought into it then you're going to have to hodl on for a long time to see a return on your investment.. and it could be worth it.

So this game/platform/3D world has a total value of 190 million dollars as of today? You guys think there will be millions of people in this platform spending their days on your land? I would seriously like an answer from someone that has land. What is the population right now and what do you project it will be when it will be finished?

One thing to keep I mind is if the prices start going down consistantly then the project may be heading for disaster. If there's not enough interest to keep prices level every invester will jump ship really fast.
But the stats seem to show prices increasing on average when viewed from a larger timeline.

This is really the BIG thing! Finally Decentralend team released the Decentraland SDK Alpha to the developer community.
So, this is the huge step in the development of the whole project and from now other devepolers could write code for different interactive and dynamic content for the Decentraland platform!

Pump-and-Dump my friend, just a Pump-and-Dump. Look at the price now, it's collapsed as the pumpers took there profit and ran, happens all the time.

What just happened to MANA price? It went from 1400 satoshi to over 3000 satoshi in one hour time (it even touched 3998 satoshi on Binance). Big news or just manipulation?

This is a decent article about the great possibility of the Decentraland marketplace! I`m really looking forward to the first cafe or cinema built on the MANA)

So what are your plans for your lands! Is it just for sale and purchase or you will build something? I am personally thinking of building a coffee cafe where people can meet and greet. The only thing is I am not a coder or a designer. But if an easy to use development kit is released, like which has pre-built assets, drag and drop, GUI interface; then I think many people like me will be interested in converting their lands into landmarks. What do you think?

think like fallout new vegas with the 1 main place where there is like the walt disney frozen head character who is running a well oiled machine city and everyone outside is gangs then there are random little places and some of the places are like weird tribes and others are just random groupings of people doing things and others are kind of like the walt disney vegas city

that is probably how decentraland will be but it won't all be one game it will all be different because people will be making different games on it

they have not explained much about their software development kit but say either it is like makehuman3d which is a free software for creating 3d objects including game characters or the sdk allows you to move files that you make on softwares like makehuman3d and use them in your land space that you have bought on decentraland then technically you could begin to create a skyrim type game on your plot of land and people could come there and collect plants and other ingredients or buy things from shops and cast spells or whatever but if they leave your area they may not be able to use those things or those things may only exist for them in your area I am not sure

but if you were to do that and make a big skyrim type game with a bunch of plots of land there would be people around you who would have only a small piece of land but they could probably somehow attach themselves to your land and make themselves like a mini version of yours and all their things from your land can be used in their land and they can build theirs up into the sky just like you can build yours into the sky so they could have like a mini skyscraper with rooms and rooms full of people doing things with things from the larger land but all in the smaller space

example say someone creates a game where you can create potions or something right and there are different kinds like strength potions that help you beat quests or whatever and intelligence potions that help you get skills that you can use and different ability potions that allow you to get things without getting to a certain level or whatever and that is in their decentraland game that they have created I could create a small skyscraper nearby that has all the ingredients from their game and all the tools from their game and all the sources of water and sources of heat or whatever you need all in 1 room or in 4 rooms right next to each other people could actually come over to the mini land and stock up and have more for the big land

and I assume that in decentraland that is how it will work whoever is actually using it to build virtual reality games is going to effect what everyone else that owns land around them does

it seems like it is the same as booth at a convention or festival or something like that but you can either buy 1 little small plot of land and use it to create a small thing that people will either use or not or you can build upwards and create something like a little city of things in 1 small plot of land all the way into the sky and maybe space or whatever but you could also have a giant plot of land with lots of little plots and create something and the more plots you have in a region the more you will control why people are in the region and what the economy of the region is based on

but again I am not sure if it has been made clear where mana comes from or have they said somewhere?
