The thing that annoys me most about this is that the devs are still completely anonymous. Every time a coin comes out we'll be wondering... is this the macro guys??? Undecided

I checked the build_unix.txt again.

What I couldn't do was

it resulted in:

This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'libdb4.8-dev' has no installation candidate

Instead I did

sudo apt-get install libdb5.1++-dev   libdb5.1-dev

was that the right choice? Could that be the source of the problem?

Did it work? At this point does it matter? You may also run into similar issues with libboost*
