I want to know how Midascoin got my email address

I've heard of a pool leaking an email list but I am not a miner and have never joined a pool.

The fact that the devs obviously did some shady shit to get email addresses should throw up RED FLAGS if nothing else...

why do you say that? email lists can be bought for 0.1 BTC
But sending to bought emails that never agreed to receive from him is considered spam

Come on now. Big deal?
not a big deal, but dev should say where he got all the emails, its fair

If you mind in their pool, you get coins which you can spend on their store and get gift cards. 300MH/s mining for 8 hours from the start of the pool got me 30MID so I am almost at a $10 master card gift card.

Launch has been pure madness, over 30 Ghash hashrate.

Now situation is stabilizing around the expected mining profitabilty.

still not quite worth mining. Im watching it.. Im just torn as to mine it when it is "worth it" mathmatically. Im worried at the point it becomes profitable to mine, the pool wont have enough hash to keep their promises over time..

Yeah, I'd say......looked all the new scrypt asics showed up for this one lol!  I got me a whole 7 coins with my 50 mh/s:-)  Personally never experienced such high hash rates on the launch of a coin, people showing up with gigahashes instead of megahashes, craziness!

You build a gold backed coin, have your own store, exchange, master card integration, and a single pool and didn't expect people to point ASICs to your pool? Dear god.
