My wallet is encrypted, but I was curious if having it unlocked for staking poses any security risks as far as possibly having coins stolen?  Also, any technical insight on the difference between "locked" and "unlocked" would be appreciated. 

Glad to be holding MIN and look forward to an exciting couple of months ahead.  From what i can tell, there's a great community forming behind a super competent dev with a clear vision of where this ship is going....... I'm hoping this so called ship is of the variety that travels outside our atmosphere as well

I think we need a bit more twitter presence to be honest. Look how other coins are doing. Promotions and several tweets a day. Some live updates on ongoing updates etc. pp. Would be great!

This all be Points after Minerals is solid in E-Sport Betting, and after it hits on some e-sport sites. Minerals has the chance to get very hugh on this market and as a FirstMover on e-sports it will attract many people and the industry automaticly. It is still very early to take these things for a goal, within time it will automaticly happen. What is now needed is a solid Wallet and a good Marketing after Wallet and Website are finished.  After some months of attracting people to use minerals as a supporting tool for Teams to donate and betting we could think to go a step forward.

We need more technical skilled people to create sites for betting and purchasing Minerals to the Mainstream. And think about the charge back of Minerals if people would like to cash out without using BTC.

1. The forum should have dedicated pages for each games supported by Minerals, so that the people can discuss about the games, players and put betting action on their respective pages. Also development and projects should also have have their own pages. Ex:- Look at NXT or NEM forums. You will get an idea.
2.  Minerals is going to be like Mastercoin or Blackcoin or maybe even achieve greater heights when the gaming community gets involved. Trust me the gaming industry is really huge. So, stepwise tutorials on wallet, betting and miscellaneous should have an extra space.
3. The forum should also contain a section for tournaments and ads hiring new gamers & developers. So the dev should hire more people to expand the Minerals empire.
Maybe in the future Minerals can implement the purchase of games inside the wallet itself??
3. Live feeds of games should be implemented somewhere on the client itself. This can be achieved within the next six months if the dev hires good developers  NO?? The wallet needs a bit of refining in the area of graphics. Modern games use mind-blowing graphics and to attract the gamer community we should have an eye-catching wallet with great graphics 
4. The dev should contact IGN, GAMESPOT, GAMEZONE, GAMESRADAR, etc. and do an extensive marketing campaign so that the world gets an idea about Minerals

You know your coin is getting a lot of attention when you have people coming to the thread to troll and offer bad advice with the intention of getting people to sell and buy other coins.

I'm not sure exactly what motives the hoards of trolls who often do this in official threads once a coin gets big. I would assume they're bag holding some other coins and desperately want people to sell whatever coin is doing well now and go buy up whatever it is they're holding.
