Am I right in saying the only ways to get MIN are to:

Buy (inc Mining other crypto to buy MIN)
Earn 'interest' on existing MIN?

Yeah.

is there legal problem of using starcraft photos?

Well there is a Blizzard video policy available here: http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/videopolicy.html

It clarly states that we can use footage from blizzard game for non-commercial purposes. I.e. we can`t demand you pay for vewing the content. We also can not put blizzard logo`s or screenshots on something we sell unless blizzard confirm it. Basically our service is free to use, all content is available from the start so I don`t see any upcoming problem in this regards. Minerals itself have own and unique logo, and we do not selling anything Blizzard themed, so I believe we are safe.

Neither you nor the operator of any website where your Production(s) may be viewed can force a viewer to pay a "fee" to be able to view your Production(s).

Also since minerals can be obtained for free I believe it can be subjected to

We understand that many third party websites have a "free" method to see their video content, as well as a 'premium' membership service that allows for speedier viewing.

For clarity, please note that as long as the website that hosts your Production provides a free method to allow viewers to see the Production, Blizzard Entertainment will not object to your Production being hosted on that site, regardless of the site's "for pay" premium service plans.

Still in case we will receive any official word from blizzard on account of Minerals - I will inform the community and we will find a way to solve it.

Thanks, nice sum up.

People need to take a step back and realize how young Minerals is and see its HUGE potential down the road. WE're only at the very early stages; baby steps. Once we build a solid foundation, this thing is gona take off like a rocket.

I can easily see 1 MIN = $1 within the next few months AT LEAST...and thats huge considering the current price is what, about 4 cents per MIN?  Cool

Hi Dev, Online game players (Ragnarok Online, Gunbound, Ran Online, etc. ) buy e-loads to buy in-game items or skills. Right now, for each game, a player must buy the corresponding unit for that game only. If you guys can convince online game publishers to accept MIN as a currency for these different games, that will lead to a wide adoption of MIN by online game players.

Hello we considered this idea and it is really-really great. All those "gems" "gold" "diamonds" and other in-game currency - have a huge potential, but realisticly we don`t think it can work out at this stage of developement. Right now we need to become more known. And then when we draw some attention and trust we may, and should get back to this idea as well. Still it is great that you brought this up. Fresh ideas always good.

Man i wish MIN was LoL coin since LoL has started to take over Korea.  Starcraft II is very boring... Starcraft I was the real thing. Take a look at the emperor of Terran he made history for Starcraft I.

We have plans to implement LoL and Dota after SC II. The reason we started from SC II is because we all familiar with SC II Api and game, so we can deliver features faster. After we polish SC II betting service we will move on to other games and classic sports events as well.

can anyone help me with the wallet ? Yesterday it's fine but when I tried to start it now it says Runtime Error. This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I've tried re-downloading my wallet and deleting all files in AppData/Roaming/Minerals except the wallet.dat, but after the blockchain redownloaded this error appear again. Any help would be appreciated.

if ur on win7, right click the qt client and click properties and select "unlock" button and try again. if that doesnt work then im not sure. do you have the newest version of the wallet?

I just downloaded the wallet but it still shows the error. And what do you mean by select "unlock" ?

"unblock" sorry lol

it should be in the properties window of the minerals-qt.exe

Well it's still not working. Strangely if I use the no betting version of the wallet it starts just fine.

well i really dont know. it should work with the new version if you delete everything except wallet.dat and launch the new wallet and allow it to sync. if that doesnt work well im going to have to refer you to the dev.

Did you try adding conf file to the new wallet? Didn't this error come up before or am I dreaming?

Coinler you always make some valid points,, for me its a coin I mined for resale, like the rest but along the way I decided to hold back on a decent amount for 2 reasons, portfolio and future value potential, and yes Betting! I needed something new to do with crypto coins, in the end trading buying and selling as you do is almost the same as betting in in its own way. we all have our different reasons as to why we are even here in the crypto world. We all get out of it what we think we want, including the devs and so on.... but Minerals is a great coin and this thread has been and is a great thread with a lot of enthusiasm for a change... and its been nice.... I know you agree Smiley

yes it's been nice. id have liked it to be nicer tho  Wink

im not done with minerals tho. i might get into betting.. i still hold some of my mined coins so while im learning the game with friends we might pass some bets just for sport. literally not caring whether i win or lose but just having fun. who knows.. maybe one day ill be kicking your butts once i get my practice in. i can learn pretty quick ;p but damn starcraft ii is expensive.. i thought itd be like $20 lol
there ya go!  Wink like you said have a little efun betting and learning,,, one day we will be betting on NFL games and more I'm sure.. where there's a will there's a way"

You need to hop over to Fujicoin thread and help out in any way shape or form you see fit lol right now help is needed badly and the dev has some decent bounties out there,,, but the dev and community albeit (very very small at that) needs some involvement and folks to bring their ideas in and invite others to take a look. I believe any coin can succeed to some extent so long as there is a strong community support. Smiley

Don't worry I am a big fan of MIN --- like a kid waiting for Christmas, with the all new and improved betting features lol

the problem with fujicoin is that im not a marketing specialist. more of a crypto specialist who currently doesnt see any way to market fujicoin as it's currently structured. i can help the dev build a new coin that is marketable.. for a fee of course. and i will help him market it to success if he really wants me on board. i have 3 coin designs im considering selling for 1btc each. if he's interested i guess he can msg me.
