I tried running the coin daemon, but it only says

Creating backup of C -> C

Stays there forever.

Any help?
When it's display, monacoind is already running
Add '-createwalletbackups 0' if you don't need auto wallet backup

Thanks for confirming that the https://monatr.jp/ website allows you to log-in using Yahoo Open ID the first time allowing funds to be deposited, but refuses logging-in in all the subsequent attempts to log-in. This means that users cannot get access to their funds.

I notice on their Twitter account that difficulties in logging-in with Google have been reported in January 2017:
https://twitter.com/monatr_jp
It is now May 2017, long enough for logging-in problems to be sorted out. This makes me very suspicious.

The https://monatr.jp/ website is owned by Hyuga Masahiko of Janom LLC, which is located in Tokyo, Japan and this is their website and twitter account:
https://janom.co.jp/
https://twitter.com/janom_llc?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fjanom.co.jp%2F

I will wait a short while for the owners of the https://monatr.jp/ website to respond.

I've been able to login fine and trade with Yahoo Open ID with no issue for the past several months (or well, years). This issue appears to only be restricted to Google-connected accounts. If I recall correctly, Google integration was introduced very late so I assume there are considerably fewer users using Google authentication, but I guess I could be wrong (I'd be using it instead of Yahoo authentication if it had existed when I signed up). Hyuga (I think) has posted to the Monatr Twitter acknowledging the situation - noting that with the sudden influx of activity and lack of manpower (if I recall correctly he only has one other person working with him?) to support Monatr and other projects they haven't been able to resolve the issue yet. There has been no report of mishandling or loss of user funds at this point in time (in his most recent tweet on Monatr, he states that they are intact).

FYI most trading is being done at Zaif.

@Metros This is not the Monaco thread.

@Ukuhudu It was pretty popular, suffered a period of stagnation for a bit, and now is getting a lot of renewed interest as of late.

How popular is this coin in Japan , it looks like the bull run have just started.

Well, Zaif has ATMs all over the place (BTC/MONA) and I have it confirmed it is popular for arcade gaming in Japan.

Hi. I'm wondering whether anyone is having trouble logging into the mona-tore crypto exchange?

https://monatr.jp/

I logged in successfully the first time using my Yahoo Open ID and sent some funds there to buy Mona. Since then I've not been able to log in at all using the same method.

One part of the screen says:
Logged in successfully.
Duplicate entry 'https://me.yahoo.com/a/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' for key 'xxxxxxx'
(the xxx's blank out assigned characters that might be specific to me)

The top part of the screen says:
User ID(x)Not logged in                   [ Login or Register ]

So one part of the page says that I'm logged in, the other part says I'm not. Has anyone encountered this problem before?  And has anyone any ideas of how I can successfully log in to access my funds?

Unfortunately, it was reproduced on my PC.
Yahoo Japan ID (yellow) only succeeds in signing in.
It seems that the site does not support new single sign-on for google and yahoo.

Thanks for your reply. If the https://monatr.jp/ website doesn't support "the single sign-on for Yahoo" why does it have a button for it on the sign-in webpage?

However, it did work the first time when I sent my Litecoin funds in.

I have emailed the contact address for the website several times. I shall wait a further short while for an answer before concluding that https://monatr.jp/ is operating a scam allowing you to send funds in, but then denying subsequent access to those funds.

If I receive no answer, I will then inform the authorities in Japan of possible fraudulent activity.

After confirming your writing,
I got a new Yahoo ID and verified it.

Only when logging in for the first time,
the user ID is displayed and coins can be sent.
As you know,
I fail logging in after the second time.

Sorry.
I am not the owner of this site.
So I can not help you.
Please wait e-mail reply from site owner.
