Hi there, i invested many month ago in monacoin, i want now to try mining. Im using CCminer, and i have mined 0.2 monacoin since now.
I Have a 11173 k/hashs in my ccminer window, is it a good stat ?
I m using a 980gtx gpu
thank for your answer

No, you should be getting ~25-30 MH/s with a GTX980, at which you should be mining 3-4 Mona per day.

For Arch Linux users, I just finished writing an AUR package for building the current build of Monacoin this morning:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/monacoin-qt

Please test and post there if you have any issues.

I can assure you, 'Mr Newbie', that the Yahoo ID doesn't work, at least for people in the West, after the initial sign-in (and deposit in my case). This has been confirmed by another here in a previous post. I doubt very much the veracity of your statement. You seem to know a lot about Hyuga Masahiko. I can tell you this: neither he , nor any other person from Monatr has responded to an email I sent well over a month ago.

I will wait till the end of this month. If I don't receive a reply to my email by then, I will inform the Japanese authorities, the media, and other agencies about possible fraud involving monatr and cryptocurrencies.

I just created two new accounts on monatr.jp:
using yahoo JP ID: https://up.lae.is/u/monatr-yahoo-jp-noaudio.mp4
using yahoo ID: https://up.lae.is/u/monatr-yahoo-com-noaudio.mp4

I was able to log out and log back in without an issue - didn't attempt any deposits but I can try to do so if you're insistent.

Also your inflammatory tone isn't helping - I've no reason to post in other threads because talking about cryptocurrency isn't my job (and if you look closely, this account was made in Q1 2014). This isn't just a "western-specific" because I clearly was using this exchange here in California and previously in Chicago (though I've moved off this exchange by now).

I'm not quite sure how you came to the conclusion that I "know a lot about Hyuga Masahiko" - I only provided a translation from the tweets that were posted on the Twitter account for this exchange:

https://twitter.com/monatr_jp/status/821321538410381314
https://twitter.com/monatr_jp/status/867564671083008000

Anyone that's been following this community since 2014 is going to know things like the different companies involved with the coin, that's just how it is.

Also according to this thread - http://askmona.org/5044 - the Google ID issue actually looks like the result of Google deprecating openID 2.0 https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41591449/google-oauth2-migration-issue-missing-openid-id

Anyway, it's still disappointing that he hasn't at least replied to you, but that's none of my business.

Thanks for confirming that the https://monatr.jp/ website allows you to log-in using Yahoo Open ID the first time allowing funds to be deposited, but refuses logging-in in all the subsequent attempts to log-in. This means that users cannot get access to their funds.

I notice on their Twitter account that difficulties in logging-in with Google have been reported in January 2017:
https://twitter.com/monatr_jp
It is now May 2017, long enough for logging-in problems to be sorted out. This makes me very suspicious.

The https://monatr.jp/ website is owned by Hyuga Masahiko of Janom LLC, which is located in Tokyo, Japan and this is their website and twitter account:
https://janom.co.jp/
https://twitter.com/janom_llc?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fjanom.co.jp%2F

I will wait a short while for the owners of the https://monatr.jp/ website to respond.

I've been able to login fine and trade with Yahoo Open ID with no issue for the past several months (or well, years). This issue appears to only be restricted to Google-connected accounts. If I recall correctly, Google integration was introduced very late so I assume there are considerably fewer users using Google authentication, but I guess I could be wrong (I'd be using it instead of Yahoo authentication if it had existed when I signed up). Hyuga (I think) has posted to the Monatr Twitter acknowledging the situation - noting that with the sudden influx of activity and lack of manpower (if I recall correctly he only has one other person working with him?) to support Monatr and other projects they haven't been able to resolve the issue yet. There has been no report of mishandling or loss of user funds at this point in time (in his most recent tweet on Monatr, he states that they are intact).

FYI most trading is being done at Zaif.

...

can we get more info on this coin? i'm sure lots of people are very interested by their main site looks like hot garbage.

can we still mine this coin?  how?

where are the latest news? slack? reddit? twitter?

The main community is [ https://askmona.org ]
However, this site is like a startup laboratory written in Japanese and it is noisy.

In the English community,
I think that [ https://www.reddit.com/r/monacoin/ ] is the most reliable.

Resourceful websites with more info on this coin, if you understand Japanese, are bitcoinlab.jp and www.crypto-currencies.jp
