It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

I understand what you said, and i don't know if he created the coin to dump and make money, but the real thing is WE the COMMUNITY believes in this coin, with the original developer or without him, we don't want any kind of pump&dump and fast money cheating people, we already have money . For me this is a project as many im involved.
The reality is we are buying and supporting it since 30 satoshi and going down to 2-3 litoshi, and we want to create good coin, and site for any kind of projects related to astrology, moon, donations, tipping, etc... Then, we as human beings will create our reality with our intention and thoughts. LONG LIFE MOONCOIN!!!!!!!!!!! Be a part of it tins! buy some coins or mine them, or just think on possible ways or spread the real use we want to give for this coin. Had some spare time and thought about creating some nice Mooncoin-graphics:... Great! Very nice graphics. The new Mooncoin wallet based on gjhiggins version with all necessary changes and new secure ssh version is ready and compiled succsessfully for windows !!! ....now testing...everything looks very good ....more details within the next 24 hours. It's amazing that MOON is still around after 10 months given that the Dev wrote he was creating to dump and make some money. (I know that's what all/most altcoin's do, but no other Developers just come out and say it before release.) November 06, 2014, 02:39:27 AM

(I know that's what all/most altcoin's do, but no other Developers just come out and say it before release.) And I'm sure, you can back this assertion with a proof (link to a post or something else) ...? November 05, 2014, 10:04:00 PM

Has someone checked this Mooncoin-faucet already?
http://moonfaucet.com/ I'm trying to gather a list of sites, that have to be informed about the wallet-update, when it gets serious. I'll post that list into the new thread, to be completed by all of us. So if you come across a site that depends on a Mooncoin-wallet, like pools, blockchain-explorers, exchanges, faucets, etc., please add them to your notepad, so we have a comprehensive list afterwards in the new thread for contacting them. Thanks. November 05, 2014, 05:13:21 PM

I would like to use the original Mooncoin logo in the new wallet. +1Great to hear about the progress. EDIT: I'm planning to start the new thread by the end of the week, in order to give deaconboogie time, to chime in possibly. I have also sent him a PM, informing him of this planned step. EDIT 2: Had some spare time and thought about creating some nice Mooncoin-graphics: Very beautiful November 05, 2014, 09:26:26 AM

one thing we can do is the following: when we create the other thread, we can create a megapost with all the new instructions, webpage, etc... here and we finish with this thread and begin the new one. And if somebody replys here anything, we write again the megapost to be the last one, and everybody goes progressively to the new thread. Sounds good for me. I am through with examinig all the differences between deaconboogies and gjhiggins wallet. I will have to change some libraries of the development environments, then I will test compile gjhiggins source code. After that using gjhiggins source I will test the compiled wallets for windows, linux and mac. Then we can change random to static block reward. I would like to use the original Mooncoin logo in the new wallet. Jump to:
