I started solo at block 80 and I'm not the fastest there is.

Thanks for your honesty, Animalu. The facts of the matter are absolutely undeniable proof we premined less than 1% before the flood of hashers started rolling in. This was much less than the 3% we reserved the right to keep for past and future expenses.

Some wallet links worked, some did not. Most links were available more than 5 minutes prior to launch as you can see in our Twitter feed, website, forum posts, and miner responses.

We could not allow half of the miners/pools to have a titanic unfair advantage over the other half. If we were scammers, we would not have shut it down and you know this is true. Please stop posting in this thread digitlgrow. You are making it very difficult to give everyone a fair chance.

Three passwords is overkill. Did you know how strong an 11 character password is to brute force attack?

The least secure part of having a Bitcoin wallet is the threat of a keylogger virus logging your password. Having a good anti-virus is more important than having ten passwords in one.

I have never heard anyone say "please make my money less secure" before. That is not going to happen.

Then why stop at 3? Why not 5 or 10. Is there a limit? 11 character password is secure enough in most instances.

If you have a decent amount e.g. over $100k then here's a genius idea, have a 15 character password honestly just as strong as multi password or at least strong enough no one will brute it.

The more variables create a higher chance of malfunction with todays technology. We must stay 3 steps ahead of the best of the worst people. Hackers can live with malfunctions. Banks cannot.

Yes we do. If that password was random (which few people ever do)

How about a string of three words including a name? You would have to go through the entire dictionary of words and names on the planet and combine them must be more than billions of permutations.

Many people make the mistake of assuming a random password of 8 characters is stronger than an A-Z password of 11 or more, and they are wrong. It's like a million times or more difficult to crack 11 characters vs 8. I don't think our current computer speed is really capable to crack 11 character password but you can try?

8 character password would require a lot of computer power but is doable. 11 characters and we are taking quantum speed processing, stuff like Star Trek and photon torpedoes. But I'm sure the US government/ NSA/ military have some secret technology capable of doing so.

Your posts are mean and unwarranted. Some people were able to download the wallet. Others were not. It was not a fair launch so we shut it down. The more honest we try to be, the less honest your posts become.

We could have just let it ride with some miners/pools dominating MC forever. If we were scammers, we would not have shut it down.

On the bright side, at least now you know there were no hidden blocks. Smiley
Some things certainly did not work the way the were supposed to and I know this burns the hash renters. Everyone else lost time and for that we sincerely apologize. It has been resolved but we refuse to let all of our hard work die from simple miscommunication.
Thank you for your understanding. And we ask you to bear with us while we fire someone from the team. I know we have let some of you down and I take full responsibility for this. Please allow us the opportunity to prove some things are worth waiting for. Thank you all very much and we will not let you down tomorrow.

Seriously? Will 24 hours be enough time for you to set up another 40GH to instamine with while the rest of us are standing around with our dicks in our hands again? And why x11? So the big farms and privately held prototype FPGA's can help with the raping and pillaging? You talk about innovation and belief in crypto, but with your current product and after the actions of today, it doesn't look like there is a lot of meat on Dem Bonez.

After seeing that 40GHz while no one but your team had a pool or wallet,  I hope you understand while some of us might have an extremely tough time wasting any more of our time with this same project re-launched tomorrow in its current form.

I think you have a LOT of damage control, and a LOT of honest explaining to do before you find anyone even remotely interested in anything you might try to "sell" tomorrow. I could be wrong, but I know that is how I feel right now. If Multicoin launches tomorrow in its current form without any "come to Jesus" explanations forthcoming from you, I can promise you that none of my rigs or BTC will touch it. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me...

I think if you really want to redeem yourself and your team, to prove that your passion is in your product and not in instamining profits and generally making fools of the alt coin community, you should try doing something really community oriented like MIN or RVC. They pulled off by far, the most fair and evenly distributed release I have ever seen. They did this by controlling the MH per miner and in RVC's case, using a better hashing algorithm and pool control to weed out the ASIC and Farm rape. Taking a little time and restructuring your launch like that would go a LOOOOONG way to rebuilding my trust in you and your team. Why don't you talk to OCMiner about how to do something truly fair and honest like that. I believe he helped with the pooling code. And maybe releasing the source a little before the wallets, and do NOT let us catch you instamining industrial style again...

If I were you, I would think about taking a little time, changing a few things, and re-branding before trying to sell that same horse in 24 hours...

Just my 0.0000166 ($0.02)

Good Luck!
