sorry i am just trying to understand how you can copyright open source material you do not own and are only allowed to use by licence that you are quite clearly violating
When I type something new, I can put it on a sheet of paper like "Hello, World, I created this sentence" and then submit that sentence to the Library Of Congress. This is what we did, and the copyright does not include MIT liscenced materials made by others. Only our coding which is all by its lonesome on a flash drive right now, heading to Washington DC.
