I use cgminer, on the express pool ~ 20khs, however visit http://explorer.murfcoin.org/search. I did not find any presence, I tried about 30 minutes, I felt wasted time

Hash Rate is quite high now 145 Mh/s, however, I am competing with some of the miners who have come online, and I have a small amount of FLUFF being mined. I will try share this with anyone who cannot mine, so that they can get into the game.

Just DM me your wallet adress.

so unlucky me
mining for 1-2 hours still get nothing  Cry

Hey JWKY, Download cgminer and join the pool, that would be your best bet. Hash rate is about 20 MHs right now which is beyond cpus and graphics cards.

I just wanna to do background solo mining with wallet while doing my work with thread 1,
so I will not get any coin rewards?
2-3 hours get nothing also, wasting time?

Hey JWKY,

I'm afraid right now, that yes, the hash rate is already too high.

However, DM me your address, and I will send you some FLUFF.

Love the concept, helping foster animals is so important! I'm solo mining with about 20mh/s to keep the network moving and will submit a request to add FLUFF to all the altcoin exchanges I use.

Also - as you're the first dedicated miner at any kind of decent hashrate, I'll put your name as a contributor in the notes of the first donation if we get there!

wow installation type wallet, not much type coin wallet need installed

what difficulty now?

Hey, the difficulty is still quite low, so you can solo mine it fairly easily, but you probably want a USB miner or something or like a GTX 1080, or a fast CPU and use cpuminer.

http://explorer.murfcoin.org/

or just join the pool connect to the low difficulty port @ stratum+tcp://pool.murfcoin.org:4444

In terms of exchanges, we're still figuring that out, some exchanges charge like 0.5BTC to list, and that's not really possible for something that supposed to be donating the funds to a dog rescue. If we had $7,000, we'd just send it straight to the rescue.

how can i tell if the wallet miner is working?

In Help->Debug Window->Console type "getmininginfo". If hashpersec is anything but 0, you are mining.

Hey thanks, man, I really appreciate it! These guys get put down every minute, and it would be good to try make some change in their lives.

If we can get it on an exchange even with a small market cap we would be able to make some small donations.

Thanks for the hash :-)

Hi folks, MurfCoin mined is now at 178,000 FLUFF, I plan to make a donation to Mutts4Rescue soon once I've figured out an exchange that will list it.

I've reached out to several and there is definitely interest! Anyone interested in helping, please reach out, I haven't created any bounties, but someone that can help get it listed on an exchange is probably No.1

Introducing MurfCoin!

The first coin inspired by a Bichon Frise.

Should a FLUFF/BTC exchange actually happen, The FLUFF rescue fund will go to at least one of the smaller organizations that I've been researching that could take BTC. I'll announce on twitter and make sure its obvious that the donation has actually happened if I get that far. I do realize there is a lot of trust involved in that part.

100% of my personal pre-mine on my CPU has been transferred to the FLUFF fund already, which is roughly half of all FLUFF currently in existence. The rest of the FLUFF is distributed in production test wallets, and folks who helped me launch it, and its a small amount (around 50k FLUFF) mined over a few days on CPU's.

I'd like to modify the client so that 10% of mined FLUFF is reserved to a separate address in your client which you then be transferred for a donation easily (if you choose).

About Murfy

Murfyis a rescue that we rescued in Rhode Island in 2010 from Mutts4Rescue. He had been mistreated and was scared of everyone. The rescue foundation asked us if we wanted to keep him, because as they drove him to meet us, she noticed that he was partially blind and had cataracts. We decided he really needed a home, and got him the surgery to help with his eyesight. He is doing awesome now, but is still scared of everyone and so I created this coin for him.

In honor of Murfy, the coin has a mining lifetime of about 14 years, the same life-span as a Bichon Frise. It should be fully mined by 2031.

Because he's a big ball of fluffy, the ticker is FLUFF.
