Can somebody explain wtf i must do to sync a 0.7 last musicoin wallet?
If this is your first time sync, you must wait a few until it is fully updated, it will take a while.
We also have the latest version v2.5.1 for upgrade which improves peer discovery, download at https://github.com/Musicoin/go-musicoin/releases. If your system is linux, follow the instructions at https://github.com/Musicoin/desktop.

I saw the video and paying the long tail of musicians MORE is a great idea...
The old PPP streaming model every crypto project is copying has not worked for anyone and should replaced with something truly DISRUPTIVE.
But calling it Universal Basic Income is wonky and confusing and political and hard to explain...
You could distribute the exact same amounts with staking or a lottery or whatever and make it cool

i downloaded the gmc-linux-amd64 release but it says unstable build. is it just a wrong label?

This is normal, it means that EIP-155 is not enabled yet. We will add in future hard fork info on the next release version v2.5.1 soon.

I can understand the mining part but sending to exchanges? Why?
You can send coins to exchanges, just not from mining or web wallets. There has been an issue where coins are sent to a wallet address under 0x00...0, preventing recipients from receiving coins on their end. Desktop wallets are a much safer route.
If you encounter this issue with an exchange, please contact them to resolve this issue.
