Since you are the only dev who has appeared here (well, that I know of), I do have some questions I wonder if you would be willing to answer.
I will answer as much as I can. I am mobile right now so sorry if this doesn't make sense.

Most of the fork talk from people here isn't because they are super greedy, nor expect large profits from it. It's simply to stabilize the price at somewhat okay-ish levels. At its current price of 200-250 sats, the 1000 maza meant to be given out is worth about $1 USD. Isn't it going to be much, much harder to convince the tribe to take on the coin officially if the coin value is so minimal? I mean, how can Payu try to convince anyone from the tribe that $1 worth of crypto will really help anyone?

Yes, the price can go up. But logically you'd think if the coin was worth a bit more, it'd be more likely to be adopted.

The coin is still growing and in the acceptance phase. I see your concern but there is more of a double edged sword here when it comes to block rewards. Yes, there is a ton of coins out there that are held by a small group of people which holds the price down and opens the door to some market manipulation. While cutting rewards and changing the growth plan will spike the value in the short term, it brings in problems and just really helps these large holders grow their profits. As a miner myself, yes, that would be awesome but for the reputation of the coin and the economic system developed behind it, it would break the whole goal and risk the trust in the coin if this was going to change so easily. Cryptos are based on fixed system of coins and growth plan that is not managed by people, how bad does it look to suddenly change the reward and supply to favor a small group of people? Long term growth wins here more than initial profit, as it should. In time, as acceptance and usability grows, the price growth will follow. Right now, the big holders are a few people from mining and trading, there is really no MZC floating around outside of the exchanges. Same thing happened back in Bitcoin days, there was initially people who held 1000's of coins before they were used for anything and the price rebounded just fine so Maza wouldn't be much different in theory if the adaption grows and use grows out of miners and day traders.

There is also the issue of the official website, which baffles me as to why a professional (or even a decent amateur) designer wasn't used. As it is now, it'll do more harm than if you simply didn't have a website at all.

Who is calling the shots in Maza land? AP? Payu? Were you? Or was it a situation where too many cooks spoiled the broth?

There was community submitted designs that all were vetoed. We also had people wanting to translate the site in multiple languages, modernize the icon, and a ton of other work. Again, all vetoed. I met in the IRC channel and talked to a lot of users who were looking to help and tried to keep them involved. Everything was vetoed by AP. One of the biggest motivating things about this project was how the people in the community rallied and wanted to help with every aspect. Being unable to help them, I decided to leave and move on learning what I did.

Payu handles all the media and tribal dealings. He is the one that runs the acceptance and meeting with tribal leaders to get the name out there and initially secured the 100% support from the tribe to pursue the crypto venture. His impact on this project is amazing and I still am in touch with him daily. He really is a great person and the things he has dealt with on this project is unbelievable from the pressure from states to give up and the tribal politics and corruption he has uncovered.

AP is the developer. He has the original code and plan and handles all the development on the website, twitter, clients, etc. I was told to not work on the client updates anymore and there will be no updates this year, even cosmetic, to help usability. The website and exchange was all done by him and wasn't even going to deviate from the original template even after it was cloned to MapleCoin and another coin that wanted our help, then suddenly this abomination of a design showed up.

The developers role is questionable there. I provided some of the linux fixes and planned out the changes to address the multipools and follow up on the promoted merged mining support but again, vetoed.

The CNN news coverage (there will be people debating this was a scam) from what I have discussed with Payu is legit. There will be some cameras on site this month to film. From what I know about big media, this could make it to the air or not but if it does, the price will go up another 100x for a short term IMO. If it doesn't air, the FUD spewers will have a field day and this price will drop into single digits with no hope of coming back IMO. Either way, do I invest? Yes. I still mine Bitcoin and make buys of MZC to hold. It has the biggest potential to grow the most this years so it is a cheap investment but there is risk that comes with it. Just not a coin you are going to see news updates every day as there is a lot of stuff Payu deals with that isn't published.

I see the PRICE IS FALLING Fudrunners are still in full force here..I just update my wallet every day and watch the Maza community GROW by the day..Like the developers said

It's a 1-5 YEAR project with MANY more tribes to bring on board..Don't even look at the price right now..It matters NOT!

use this low price gift to invest in the future of the Lakota and MANY more to follow!

Ok! Reset my mind and choose to trust again, thanks for the reminding!

Think of it as an investment and not a trade..rip van winkle it..

This could be the best chance they have of breaking the chains of poverty in modern times

devs are not helping this coin, and not acting in a professional manner whatsoever... mocking day traders is one thing,  ignoring and not communicating with investors is another.

Yes, I know what it's on your mind but please notice that cooperating with media, Payu's work, is "helping the coin".

So beside many -, I can see one big + : media attention on mazacoin. That's the big point to invest in this coin.

I have the coin from the start and keep it. There are so many people have been on this forum with negative statements, no one cares more about. A lot of people love the mazacoin

You love it you just keep it, this coin has a nice concept, just not about time maybe.

Time to get out of Mazacoin.  This entire project is a joke and will never get past the paper to research it.

NEVER sell at bottom - at despair phase. I know I thought and posted that "we are at bottom" at 600 500 400 300, but never know how low will be...

If you didn't sold at 1000-700-600-300, why would you sell at 200s? Smiley

Project is good.
Community is good.
Media attention is great.
Payu Harris is good.
Boxxa is good. (oh, was, sad..;/)

AP - well, he's a problem.......

Because it will reach 100 , 50 , 20  , 10 , 1 and then no more buy orders.

you are right! sub 200 now!

It's not under 200 , and i would appreciate if your second post on the forum would not spread false information

Too rush! it's nearly sub 200. ok, my fault! Smiley

I don't understand the fork talk. The only fork, as a dev, that I was pushing for was merged mining (which was posted on the original announcement was going to be supported) and difficulty calculation changes to help fight the multipools and the stuck chains. A coin that should confirm every 2 minutes getting stuck for 30min or more is not good.

Block reward changes and block times that required a fork is a very poor move and was never agreed on. The economics of the coin are set and reducing the coin growth through mining and block changes would destroy the integrity of the coin and also profit large holders and miners who are only involved for the price and want profits.

Since you are the only dev who has appeared here (well, that I know of), I do have some questions I wonder if you would be willing to answer.

There is also the issue of the official website, which baffles me as to why a professional (or even a decent amateur) designer wasn't used. As it is now, it'll do more harm than if you simply didn't have a website at all.
