Yes you can get some coins but you will need to read the first post. Setup your wallet, post the address to the webpage given in OP and it will eventually send you some coins

As you may be aware, Nxt has a different API to other coins which makes it hard for it to get added to exchanges. Mintpal have tried twice, it isn't a copy and paste job like most coins.
It follows that N2 will have the same problem but you can make it easier for N2. Let Nxt forge the path. With Nxt on exchanges, coins based on Nxt will be added easier. N2 will find it easy to to be added to Cryptsy, Bter, Vircurex and others as Nxt forged the path to follow.
