Hey guys, I'm trying to set up a node. I've followed the guide to a T, have NHZ running and have the 7774 port open on my router and firewall. But the node check keeps coming back a failure. Can anyone help me out?

The distribution model has been official modified to 1,000,000 NHZ / # active nodes which will be paid out once every 24 hours.
This should help alleviate the sell pressure, and provide a longer and more fair distribution period, as the former model was paying out 2,064,600 NHZ every 24h.
There have been several people asking if there are bounties for promotion.

What is driving the price so low, dev?
because the market is slow right now
I wish it would be faster
price controled by market,.and not the dev
The dev controls everything, no coin, no market, no price.
The devs are responsible for development and helping with PR / exposure.
People are free to buy or sell on their own accord....

Why do I keep getting the message that my effective balance is zero and I can not forge?
Check again after 1440 blocks since you sent the NHZ to your wallet.

There is no set time, as the bounty accounts are filled when they run low. (Stakeholder / Giveaways / Node bounties)

But I think it is important to anticipate any release of funds as it has a direct effect on price.
We already had one very bad experience of a dev dumping a lot of coins and it will be good to know in advance before any major escrow release.
That's only if you wish to be transparent.
Funds are only released when the bounty accounts are getting low.
The development team has a budget of 10,000,000 coins per month, which pays 9 people and for PR / promotion.
We have another budget of 1,000,000 coins per month in the form of social media giveaways.
The rest are for community work bounties, and for node distribution, all of which were already laid out in the new distribution model that I posted yesterday.
The development team has a long term commitment to NHZ and won't be dumping any time soon. We have an invested interest to see NHZ grow, just as much as any other investor or holder.
We are in the phase of finishing the infrastructure development of the platform while growing the community so we have an attractive platform for app developers and businesses to launch their assets on.
