If the people behind the currency has no “Integrity”, than there can be no reasonable expectation for the currency to be trust worthy. Once that becomes apparent, each stake holder’s instinct of protecting one’s self interest kicks in. That can often be quite destructive. DNotes makes every attempt to promote the pursuit of a common goal for the mutual benefits of all stake holders for the long term. In such an environment, true supporters of DNotes have a higher tendency to protect their self interest as a group as oppose to, individually. Such environment is significantly more favorable in providing stability to the currency.

Self interest is the main sign post of any individual, group, community, association, state, or nation. We all protect our self our interest. This concept exposes the risk of a currency with rapid price appreciation not supported by strong fundamentals. Once a downward trend is clearly established, investors will react to protect their self interest individually, i.e. cash in before others. It becomes a “bank run” as in the case of AuroraCoin. It fell from $40 to $0.12 in a few weeks. Once that “Integrity” is broken, there is no coming back.

I trust that DNotes is sufficiently unique in so many different ways, such that any serious writer, or investors will discover us sooner than later. Once again, I urge our community to be more engaged in this forum. This is an important platform for potential investors to learn more about DNotes.

PS: It just hit me, the author talks about needing a "special feature" make a coin stand out and draw supporters.

DNotes' "special feature" is Integrity, not many others have it.

Be prepared for their animosity. Understand their skepticism is natural and not personal.
They have been burned before and they will be burned again.
If you know YOU’RE not going to burn them, forgive them their ignorance and focus on educating them about the advantages of your coin. Don’t lower yourself by engaging in common trolling or arguing. It just won’t help.
If you keep to the high road people will have more respect for you and your project. Critics can be won over, especially if they see your dedication and commitment to the cause. If your project is truly unique they’ll support you and your efforts more than they would an average clone.

That is an excellent response from RJF. Thank you. Right on point as to what DNotes is all about. We are for the masses globally. We positioned DNotes to be simple to understand, easy to use, with no scarcely stuff for the common people worldwide. That is our ultimate goal. The key words to describe DNotes are: trustworthy, stable, and reliable long term appreciation. DNotes is the Digital Currency of the Future with Lasting Value. It’s a long journey ahead and many will temporarily overtake us on the way. We will survive the test of time and be one among the few to reach the finishing line. The winning prize is quite valuable.

It is our preference as long term stake holders for DNotes to be under valued than priced to perfection or way beyond. When there are no fundamentals to support mega valuations, the price will collapse every time, often bringing about irreparable damages. Consequently, the DNotes team has a strict policy of not disclosing projects that are work in progress, until they have been successfully tested and ready for launch. We consciously choose not to price in the unknown. This has an inherent tendency for DNotes to be under valued. It is indeed an interesting feature that deserves some attention and investigation. We would also like to hear everyone's thoughts on this kind of feature for DNotes as well as other features you guys feel are important. We need to consider what are the right features for DNotes long term success. As we push forward on all fronts, we realize the technology plays a key role in the driving force behind DNotes.

First off, I don't speak for the DNote Devs but, I can address this from a person who mines, buys and holds DNote for several reasons:

1. DNotes is consistent. It has good features, no gimmicks and has been rising in value almost from inception.

2. DNotes' community gives the coin added value. We are a very supportive and, I like to think, mature group who sees the value in "steady as she goes" as opposed to "what's the new feature today?"

3. The Devs have long term business plans with set timelines that seem to be working quite well. We do not want DNotes to become a "pump & dump" coin. Perhaps some of your suggestions are all ready included for future adoption.

4. Long term investments draw a certain value from stability. It's not's healthy to introduce new features and gimmicks once you have established that your commodity/cion/etc is a long haul vehicle.

Just me 2 cents, I'm sure the Devs will present their feelings, these are just mine as an investor and supporter.

As I search for a coin to maximize my cpu in my running miner machines I have come across a couple features that may be worth investigating and adding.  I found in Vericoin's Wallet two functions that a nice, one should be easy to implement the other I'm not sure would be easy at all.  The easy function is they have four buttons on the main home page of the wallet that link to their various social media points, one for facebook, twitter, bitcointalk.org, and reddit.  Make it easy to find their community, We could include a link to cryptomoms and such.  The other feature is the ability to send payment to bitcoin addresses, I would assume there is some form of conversion to bitcoin before it's sent, not sure if they are doing it through an exchange or what, but may be worth looking into.  Would allow people to use the coin at any retailer that accepts bitcoin.  The downside I see to it is that you are linking yourself to bitcoin then, which has it's pro's and con's .  Thoughts?

This is done by building valuable properties, applications, and features, keeping them under wrap, until they have been fully tested before launch. Cryptomoms is the first project of such efforts. Yeah, I just saw this... No way!

Basically the USA want CrimDotCom extradited (which NZ should tell the US to back off, we were also illegally spying on him), but other than that, the libertarian party and conservatives in NZ wouldn't take his money, so he bought some socialists to stand for his party, which is now 'coat tailing' its way into parliament. His party would have needed 5% of the vote, but he has teamed up with a nationalist Maori (indigenous NZ peoples) party called 'Mana' who have an electorate seat, which means that they will get in without needing to meet the 5% threshold. This basically means that a vote for either party, counts for them collectively. It's a total joke party, but their list of getting seats in parliament with the joint party is:

1st Mana candidate
2nd Internet candidtate
3rd & 4th Mana candidates
5th and 6th Internet candidates.

And so on... together the two parties are polling at about 2.5% (jointly).

It totally depletes the point in people using digital currency... it is totally lost on these people. They want to have a government run currency, to manipulate to the same shocking standards that we see today! The point is though, people are paying attention everywhere.

Interesting. “Kim DotCom” has been quite a story for years. I would not be surprised if a government somewhere in the world would try to have their own crypto currency one day. Personally, I don’t believe that is a good idea. It would be very disruptive and not likely to be valued that highly in global commerce.

We have a newly formed political party here funded by a certain 'Kim DotCom' (Megaupload.com and Mega.com).

He has pumped 4 million dollars into it, I'm not a fan of all of their policies by any means, but one of them is to promote a digital currency or have a 'government backed' digital currency. Could be good, could end up just being an updated currency under government control... or could be Dnotes!

The New Zealand Central Banker should be pleased to know that there is already a Digital currency that is trustworthy and stable along with all the other advantages of digital currency including very low transaction cost and strong security as mentioned.
