Switched to official pool for now. How come so few mine there?

I didn't mine there very long because it just felt odd overall with the excessive amount of shares and the dashboard wasn't always updating correctly for me. Plus, they weren't really finding any blocks there at the beginning.

I'm still not mining. I have notes @ validation error and I suggest they do something about it now.

Mine somewhere else then. If you have confirmed DNotes there, then request a payout, the payouts are working fine.

@FAILCommunity
You can't register in some of pools, others are not working properly. Is there any pool, which is working?!

What's the best hardware setup for mining this? Do I need a radeon graphics card to mine enough to pay my power costs?

I've got more notes from giveaways and by doing certain tasks for the coin than I can mine in weeks. Cheesy

I'd say this concept is brilliant as not everyone has a 20 Mhash mining farm.

Just want to say that DNotes (the dev) is actually paying for bounties, I have helped him with the Italian translation of the OP post on the Italian bitcointalk forum and translated the dnotescoin site in Italian too and received a hefty bounty!

So go ahead and get your rewards for any of the bounties currently active

OK! I've had enough with your whining! JOKING!!!!! Grin Grin I have tried the pool my self and am reporting both of you are right!  The pool does have a working confirmation system to an extent.  I first created an account with my comcast address and it did NOT work!  I then created an account with my gmail and it DID work!  So I am happy to report that the pool IS working, just be sure to check that your email service can receive them before mining.  I will PM the dev and the pool op to let them know so you can change the email or just get the operator to manually withdraw as well as any support avenue on the pool site.  Sorry you're having a bad time. I have some coinage for you if you'd like, and I am very confident you will get your coins from the pool.

Thank you for your investigation...finally someone believe us T^T   I am using yahoo mail btw (whts wrong with yahoo?) I am trying again the sending everyday, I hope it would work one day. 0% fee pool is really attractive. Indeed, I really hope it works and want to use it 24/7. My coins left there are not that much as my hashing power is not that high...around 475 coins. Thank you if you send some to me T^T

I can verify that the PoolNetwork pool works, as it is the only pool I have consistently used (besides the P2Pool) since launch. I've had problems with other pools and email confirmations, but I just want to make sure that people know that this specific pool is not a scam and everyone should always test email confirmations and update their account information before pointing their miners to any pool to avoid problems down the line.

Yep, you are correct. I guess I have to take some responsibility also and not to rely so much on dev-team. After this experience, I have tested the confirmation email of the charity pool before pointing it Grin And yep I would test the information editing before mining every single pool in the future.

I counted 421 miners across all pools in the OP and we have a network hash of 453Mh/s!!

There seems to be pretty good distribution amongst miners here, nice!

Let's get more small timers here to get these coins spread out further before any exchange so when those big farms do hit they find an army of grassroots miners beat their greedy butts to it.

10% Premine?

Good luck with that.

Agreed. Epic Fail. Just gonna dump the shit out of it when it hits an exchange. Not even worth mining  Roll Eyes
If he doesn't pay for bounties/ give it all away first.  Did you even read any of this thread or the first page!?

We are working on a few more faucets, with different payout strategies, to better fit the needs of the community.
I think the current faucet is interesting.  I haven't seen one like that before.  Does that payout method eliminate the need for tons of ads to surround the page?  also I can see people wanting a paste and click system as well but isn't the current one a true faucet in the sense that you can get as much as you're willing to click not wait for?

It is interesting indeed, if one wanted they could earn a good amount of coin if they had the time to invest. On the other hand some users would be more interested in the time limited approach.

definitely, it'd be great if people new to crypto had the patience for that but I just think to allow for a broader community, the daily faucet is a lot better!
I just offer to set up wallets for friends and family and give them some.  I ask them if they've ever heard of crypto and I give them the rundown.  It's funny because if they've heard of bitcoin and are somewhat familiar with it's stories.  They say "well I'm just going to sit on them and see what they're worth in a year or two."  A lot of people know about crypto but they've heard it all from the big news outlets and we know how flattering they are. I can't wait for the day where I ask them "how many of those coins did I give way back?  Let's see... OH! you're rich!"
