and what do we get with this 25k coin's nucleus, some result with big picture might do some good

More will be revealed each day with the release of new parts of the roadmap.

At this stage you will get 66% of the block reward (30 NTRN). If you think about it - as less than 100 will ever been operation at one time you enable yourself to gain a fair chunk of all new coins produced. Think of it like a permanent miner that costs nothing to run but generates at the very least .6 percent of all coins generated that day - forever. If you buy 2 nodes you could conceivably be collecting over 2% of all coins created each day - every day. As there are likely to be far fewer than the 100 limit in operation your percentages could rise dramatically - perhaps even 5% is not out of the question.

You see therefore that this implementation means there is no better time than the present to get onboard. Yes - you shoulder a greater risk than others who buy in a week from now, but they will have to pay a considerably higher price than you for the same privilege.

The early bird catches the worm.

Bumping this comment for the benefit of others - If we're going to have negative views presented here we shall also have a positive interpretation.

Also Folks - It might interest you to know this. My NTRN staking is generating around 900 coins per day on average (based on my weight divided by the network staking weight multiplied by the total number of coins produced each day). At this price thats around $9.80. My TRON - roughly the same number of TRON and NTRN in my wallets - produces $41.85 USD in revenue per day.

Either TRON is horribly overpriced (I believe the opposite in fact - it should be well above 100,000) or NTRN is a damned steal. We know people were paying over 20,000 Satoshi for this 6 days ago - they will do so again when they get word of how underpriced it is compared to TRON.

Again - you're best bet to profit is to purchase both NTRN and TRON and stake them. Both will make you money on a daily basis - but naturally you must accept the risk that comes with any coin out there, that one day the gravy train might stop.

However - right now, they are both profitable little earners.

Is this again a new hype those masternode? It remains me of the color coin hype, the planet coins hype, the doge and cats hype. and after all those hypes there is in fact only a few coins that still exists. Honestly i don't see the added value of those masternodes, if someone can explain me why this is so cool, then please go ahead.

The advantage of requiring such a high number of coins to have a masternode are that the bagholders that have mined and staked from day 1 can unload a massive amount of coins on new comers given the hope that a masternode will be profitable.

This statement applies to all altcoins.
Any incentive to buy a coin must be scam related by your logic.

Not quite.  In the case of this coin it is.  Dev bailed on the project after the POW phase leaving a bunch of bagholders.  Big bagholders get together to salvage the coin and come up with a scheme to dump their coins on newcomers - requiring 25,000 coins to run a masternode.  Look, right now there are only enough coins to open ~60 masternodes.  Its a scam.  Stay away and let the scheming bagholders sleep in the bed they made.
Hello MantaMine,

I have realized all of your posts in this thread- whether they were inquiries or blatant statements- were means to discredit Neutron, the current developmental team, and other investors.

Now allow me to personally say this- before you post another theory in this thread, I would kindly ask you to gather up what evidence you have and present them with your statement. As of this moment, you are the only entity creating a negative atmosphere in this discussion.

In addition, your statements could be applied to any cryptocurrency announcing a masternode system, currently. There are substantial investors in many, if not every cryptocurrency, and that shouldn't be viewed as an obstacle to newer investors, but rather as an incentive, as large holders are a sign of confidence from a higher level. My announcement regarding the implementation of the Nucleus masternode system is no different than Dash's, Crave's, BitCredit's, or SpreadCoin's announcements regarding masternodes. All of those currencies had "big bagholders" (if I must put it in your words).

All the best,
Team Neutron

PS: To the community: Next part of the roadmap should be announced a couple of hours from now.

Here is my evidence -
When the masternode announcement was made, there were ~1,372,500 coins in circulation.  With a requirement of 25,000 coins to start a masternode, there were only enough coins IN EXISTENCE to create ~55 of the 100 possible masternodes.

The announcement coincided with the beginning of the lowest block reward on the POS plan (15 coins).  What a coincidence - all these announcements to pump the coin are made AFTER all the high POS blocks have been solved.  The only way for a newcomer to get in and make any coin would be to buy 25,000 coins off bagholders just in time to coincide with 7 days of pump.

My intent is to inform anyone new (like myself 24 hours ago) that is looking to invest in this coin what the real situation is.  You may see it a different way, but its all about perspective.

Your perspective is to try to get other people's BTC for your current holdings.  My perspective is to get other peoples current holdings for my BTC, with the hope of getting more BTC in return when I sell them - this is the way of it.

The way this masternode scheme is set up, the timing of it, and the 7 days of pump make it highly unlikely IMO that the late comer will make anything but a loss.

You gotta love it when the dev himself comes and issues a smackdown lol

Looking forward to part 2! I've been staking away since I bought in and so far so good. Staking NTRN next to my TRON wallet - because why not both right? No reason we can't enjoy the fruits of multiple coins Smiley

I think he has a hard on for takeovers, especially ones where he cannot afford a masternode! Angry

I can not update the wallet.Shows 0 connections. What should I do to make it work? Huh

Give me 5 minutes I will upload a peers.dat file for you. I think the dev hard coded a seed node that has gone offline.

(Or do what the post above me said to do)

@TeamPositron can you put a sample config file and instructions on how to use it in the ANN?

Ok. Download this (https://mega.co.nz/#!KN4FWajA!NU5rQo8ZTptHcjyRq_iZ0gIJZBftMWKZ79ECxMEDmPw), extract it, go to C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Neutron, then replace peers.dat and restart the wallet.

Should see connections from there.

Side note, I like that it's 25k. The only real reason to complain about it is over not being able to afford one yourself. I think they SHOULD be rare, and SHOULD be something that requires some accumulation to own. We sat at ~3500 for days. Those who invested early get rewarded with easier masternodes. Those who didn't have to buy up (as we can see they are, pushing back into 6k range as I type this.) Masternodes at 25k is great for the coin. Reminds me of the buy pressure and lack of coins for sale that QTL created.

Any guesses as to what day 2 of the 7 day roadmap will bring? Smiley
