A Wound in Eternity
You could always do another takeover as there is clearly a bunch of people here that wants this coin to grow

I am willing to be part of the take over team, but I'm not willing to do this all by myself.
IMO in order to have a succesfull takeover, we will need at least 3 dedicated team members, preferable up to 5.

The good thing is, we have a perfect working wallet, with about 35 active masternodes to support the network.
From my expierence with other coins, there is no extra value in trying to create fancy features, or a beautiful looking wallet, so I think we should not waste our time on these things.

The real value of cryptocoins lies in their use...
People should be able to buy real things with their coins...
So, I think that's exactly what we should focus on, but before we do so, we should set up a basic PR infrastructure in order to create a wider user base...
-Website
-Social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit,...)
-New Bitcointalk thread
-...

Next phase should be a more active PR campaign, I'm talking about give-aways, contests, getting articles published on the major news sites,...

Once that is done, we need to set up a payment processor for NTRN, and a decent block explorer (with rich-list!).

It's a lot of hard work, but it could be worth it...

But again, a take over is only possible if the majority of this community actualy want's it to happen, and we can find at least two more dedicated core-team members...

Regards

Goldmaxx

I am willing to help out and work on this project. I think this has promise and the wallets seem to be working well. I have a MN and I will hold that one.

I think we should at least give another week for the Dev to respond to the take over. Goldmaxx has been very active with this project. I don't have any programming skill don't think I can offer any value to the team but I have two MNs I will hold. The longer this project has no updates will definitely impacting the price and a long term affect to it.

Only 4 days? Maybe they went for vacation. Guys you are very impatient, if dev doesn't say anything for few days doesn't mean it's dying. Smiley But if you are impatient please feel free to dump into my patient buy orders. Smiley

First of all, I never ever dump any of the coins I invest in...
It's all or nothing for me, every time again.

Second, yes, I might not be the most patient person out there :-)

Third, everyone has the right to leave for a few days (or even weeks), but it would have been nice to let us know...
So far, Team Neutron hasn't been that communicative, and that's exactly what's keeping this coin from rising to new heights...

Several community members contacted me in order to get things moving for Neutron... don't know how much longer we should wait for him to get things going...

Don't forget it's been like this since the end of may, that's a little longer than 4 days...

I just hope (and keep on believing) he doesn't have much time, and things will change once the council is formed...

Just my 2 cents...

Regards

Goldmaxx

PS:

I couldn't have said it better myself... that's why we should do the next phase ASAP (phase 2 media blitz)

I would like to add a little comment to this specific part of the roadmap.

I find the media blitz to be one of the most important parts of the entire developmental roadmap. Just take into consideration- how many people know about Neutron currently? 1000? 500? 100? No, just a few dozen individuals. Having such a tiny userbase does not equate to a healthy community. What the media blitz will do is bring Neutron to the cryptocurrency masses. Once it is over, we could expect a few thousand crypto enthusiasts to have heard about Neutron at the absolute minimum.

What does the media blitz bring? It brings us more bright individuals, whom ideas we could cultivate to make Neutron a better cryptocurrency- whether through developmental advances or just adoption. It brings us more investors, which will drive the marketcap of Neutron to more reasonable levels, through real and logical demand, not artificial pump and dump. And what else will the media blitz bring? It brings more people to this discussion. It'll make the community a more active and vibrant place.

These are just a few thoughts to keep in mind.

All the best,
Team Neutron

I think we got more than a few dozen Wink   50+ on bittrex alone

About running two or more MN on a Mac:

So, after I have two directories for the neutron.conf files like:

I transferred exactly 25,000 NTRN and I got the key and I am running a MN:
81.105.192.121:9999 - 9UYqq5nCwym6dtYe2RVyZG4T2dXtipe24A from:
/.../.../Library/Application Support/Neutron/neutron.conf (MN1)

So what I want to do is to transfer another 25,000 NTRN and get another public key. Do I just transfer and run 'masternode genkey', will it then use the second batch of 25,000 NTRNs and give me another key.
I will then create another data directory like:
/.../.../Library/Application Support/Neutron2/neutron.conf (MN2)

Should I then use: 'masternode
What would be the syntax to start the second node?

You would use the same commands as the first MN, but just always use -datadir=/path/to/Neutron2 as an argument to any commands that apply to your second MN.

Also (you probably already know this, but I wasn't sure from the way your question was written) you want to send the second 25K NTRN to an address in your second wallet. The command:

Neutrond -datadir=/path/to/Neutron2 masternode genkey

should create another masternodeprivkey for that second wallet.

Good luck!
