People are hesitant to fully get behind a coin until they know they can cash out if they have to at some point. http://exchange.ghash.ru/ is a good start but we need to really be aiming for coinedup, cryptsy, etc.

yeah didn't realise my pool was over 50% of the network so signups will be disabled until hashrate evens out, we need more pools.

Hey Devs, I'm wondering what the next plans are for this coin. There are a lot of paths to move forward on and I'm wondering which ones you guys are treating as priorities right now.
Were also discussing different ways to integrate nyancoin with the nyan.cat website. We want people to be able to earn coins directly from there.

All alt. coins can uses similar prepared conf file, just copy prepared conf, put addnode and rename it as coinname.
Ofcourse two wallet can't run on same port, so If you wanna solomine other coin, just cleanup conf before except addnode.

It will take a while to find a block depending on your hashrate - if your hash rate is 1Mhash it will take about 2 hours to find a block (337 coins) at the current difficulty
It's actually pretty easy to set up.
First, go to your Nyancoin data folder (by default in windows this is: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Nyancoin)
Create a new text file in that folder, paste in the following text:
rpcuser=nyan
rpcpassword=nyannyan
rpcport=33700
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=5.254.101.106
addnode=174.36.198.160
addnode=69.159.142.71
addnode=100.1.82.147
addnode=5.254.101.106
addnode=nyan.happyminers.net
addnode=nyan.antisecurity.de
server=1
Now save the file as "nyancoin.conf"
Re-Launch the wallet and let it connect - it needs to fully sync before you can start mining.
Now go back to your cgminer .bat file - where you would normally put your pool info put this instead: localhost:33700
your username will be nyan and your password is nyannyan (you can set this to whatever you want in the .conf file)
Now launch your .bat and it will start solo-mining.
When you find a block 337 coins will automagically appear in your wallet

We're currently in contact with many news sites and adding content to the website. Were also adding different languages, we will be adding japanese and chinese very soon.
