I don't know if this is the case but I've seen this many times... nobody cares, the coin is shit, etc. and then BOOM, it's gold 
yep.. one of the most useless dev's i've ever seen. i don't understand what is the point to work on releasing a coin, setting a site etc and after launch the dev vanishes thus resulting in a dead/useless coin. no1 will even pay 1 sat at this point
