I'm getting into OC lately. The wallet runs smoothly without crashing for days. I get so many POS coins. This is great.

I think something with happen with this coin. It might not be for a year but it will happen. OC is a solid coin with a good community.

Welcome! I've seen you in quite a few of the other forums I've been frequenting of late. Thanks for stopping in! Smiley

We are very strong here, but as been stated, we are lacking a dev. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the coin's function and never had any problems in that respect.

If you go to the forum @ orangecoins.info/forum you can get free OC in the 250 member giveaway. I think we're down to #75.

I am just a little sad cause I had great hope in orangecoin and OC too. Smiley
I am bitter too, I should have sold when it was 400 Sats, not now that it is at 20 Sats.
I am baffled at how a coin can sink so low, but I feel that this coin can survive if we just keep it alive at Bittrex, for those of us that have funds.

Devs just intentionally sink investments, they want us all crawling on our hands and knees - this is the real power of a Dev

OC will have a second birth, only a matter of time before someone come along and decides to pick up the coin. Our community is stronger than one might think, we have a lot of people "backstage" holding some substantial OC.

I will remind the community of what we have:
20% PoS, ~52 million coins
Tor network connection capabilities
Testnet
Fully functioning blockchain/wallet/nodes
Basic services done: explorers, richlists, website, forum, chart data, etc
PR "team" consisting of me and a few community members who are waiting for OCdev (or direction?) before we act.
^^ (Have to double check on this team when the time comes, it's been a while.)

OC is still active at Bittrex.

I also have some problems in this cryptoworld, about investments just dying for no reason - it is either that the DEV goes missing, or some useless newbies use FUD to scare away fresh investors.

Where is OCdev?

There are many ways to revive this coin - rebranding is a very good way - we already a functioning coin.

I had the same issues with WC, AC and YC. Then came orangecoin and I thought I will have a little luck with it.

At the moment I am only intrested in NLG. The devs are good and the coin gets more and more acceptance in holland. In one year it could be 50 cent to one dollar worth .

People do not realise that a low selling coin with all the features that OC has can become very profitable, if people just pay attention. Why do people just allow investments to go to waste?

I can understand you.

I think OC will comeback at any time and rebrand with  good developerteam/ marketing .

And  it is still staking until then ;-)

I still think about to re-enter but only at a very low price with a big amnount ;-)

You're a good friend.  Smiley

And you're 100% correct, and I've even said it before. There's nothing wrong with OC as a coin, no forks, staking works perfectly, Tor included, foundation is built.

Wish Bittrex wasn't just about the money. Even stocks on Wall St on the main exchanges get 6-7 months before they get delisted when they fall below $1, coins get 7-14 days.... I know, not the same, but damn... no room for anything at bittrex.

I know everyone loses with this situation. For most everyone else it's monetary, but I've poured my heart, soul and my essence into this coin. I really hate to see it die too. Almost like my child is dying. Months of work for nothing. I can't tell you enough how disappointed I am in OCdev. I have a lot more at stake than just financials. It sucks.  Cry

What about Jim Rambler?  I know he spent a lot of time working on upgrades for the coin and was waiting on OC Dev to implement them.  Can he implement them without OC Dev?  Is he willing to do so?  It would seem a shame for his hard work to go to waste.  Not to mention some of us, myself included, invested in anticipation of these changes.  It sucks to see this coin go this way.

I have copied this from an earlier post of mine about 2-3 pages back:
Jim had said he 'could' release the wallet but needed to go over Ocdev's coding first, but without OCdev, it would take Jim a while to figure everything else out (like code definitions and such, I'm guessing). Jim was brought on board to assist OCdev with the MN, not to take over the coin.
