Spent the night trying to figure this out. I downloaded the new wallet, synced it up and tried to import my Coinomi Wallet using my seed phrase. No matter what I do the balance shows as zero.

When I do "getwalletinfo" in console it shows the proper balance.

"listaddressgroupings" in console is also accurate and shows the two addresses one with 10K OK and the other with 2499 OK

My staking power is listed as 10000 but my balance is 12499, so it does recognize the coins as staking.

I did the scanforalltxns with the block# of my last transactions 1997291

Has anyone else had similar issues with balances not showing in the app?

I'm running Kubuntu Linux, but the install was easy, and the chain synced right up. I did use the github instant sync https://github.com/okcashpro/ok-blockchain

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Must be for the way AppImage saves itself, maybe create a new address on your wallet, and use coin control to select the coins from those addresses that have coins and send them to the new address so it can reflect the coins properly, as for it being an import, probably just needs to recognize them as a transfer.
Also, have you restarted your wallet after the import, might help.

Create and Restore an Okcash HD Wallet
---

When you load the new Okcash HD wallet for the first time, it will create a new HD account for you and set it as default, any new addresses generated will be from the default HD account [unique to you].
However, as this is pre-generated and not easy to remember, we suggest you to proceed to create a new HD account using a mnemonic sentence.

Always backup your wallet.dat first!

              Creating an Okcash HD wallet:

                     1. Turn off the OK Client, save your wallet.dat [Backup] and rename it
                     2. Turn on the latest OK Client
                     3. Create a new Okcash HD wallet[Account] (OK Tools > Get a new HD Wallet) and give it a name
                     4. Go to "OK Tools > Advanced HD config" and make sure the new HD account
you just named is showing as "default"
                     5. Send some Okcash from your old wallet to the new one

Recovering / Restoring an Okcash HD wallet:

                     1. Turn off the OK Client, save your wallet.dat [Backup] and rename it
                     2. Turn on the latest OK Client
                     3. Go to "OK Tools > Import an HD Wallet" and complete the steps
                     4. Go to "OK Tools > Debug Console" and type scanforalltxns 2730690
                     5. You should see your test transaction showing up

Your new Okcash HD wallet is setup, and the mnemonic sentence + optional password
is all you need to access all new created addresses.

How to run an AppImage on Linux:
---

Before you can run an AppImage, you need to make it executable. This is a Linux security feature. There are three main ways to make an AppImage executable:

1. With the GUI

Open your file manager and browse to the location of the AppImage
Right-click on the AppImage and click the ‘Properties’ entry
Switch to the Permissions tab and
Click the ‘Allow executing file as program’ checkbox if you are using a Nautilus-based file manager (Files, Nemo, Caja), or click the ‘Is executable’ checkbox if you are using Dolphin, or change the ‘Execute’ drop down list to ‘Anyone’ if you are using PCManFM
    Close the dialog
Double-click on the AppImage file to run

2. On the command line

chmod a+x Some.AppImage

Thanks for the wallet Update.  OkCash  needs more if not (aggressive) Marketing!.. this coins has everything to make it a 2 dollar coin.  but somehow it doesn't get the recognition/exposure it deserves.  I hope Dev and his team will do more marketing for this coin and if possible add to  a more bigger exchange. one thing for sure it aint a 0.03 dollarcent coin!

Congrats ! Hopefully this will cause some movement in OKCash. It's a really nice coin and is very fast and the staking is seemless.
Really always thought, that it should be a top 100 coin. Hopefully you guys do some marketing. It's a perfect coin and name. Just needs more exposure.
Here's to a great future!

Thanks for your support to the OK community, we aim to make it even more easier and accessible for new users to test/use and get empowered with Okcash Cryptocurrency.

Okcash is getting integrated in the next weeks in to the TENT Wallet, providing OK users with swaps between currencies and the use of crypto debit cards.

#OKCash is coming to TENT Wallet (BitFrost) in upcoming release. Users will be able to swap 🔄
between currencies and use crypto debit cards 💳
 Welcome onboard 🌍♥️🎉✌️
#BUIDL #cryptocurrencies
A Big Thanks to the involved teams and users.

Thanks for the update, but could you Please check the reviews of this wallet before you really connect it to TENT? These TENT Wallet reviews don't look healthy. >>> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wallet.snowgem.bitfrost&hl=en_US&gl=US&showAllReviews=true

Bought Snowgem a month ago. Now suddenly the wallet is different and i cannot log into my own account. Master passphrase does not work )

I think better options are a request for Exodus Wallet, (very good and fair costumer service) . Also a request at Bittrex for an USDT/OK couple would grow Volume to OKCash.

Another one...a request to the Coinomi wallet is good and...  the Coinpayments.net  platform. That Platform helped me to gather my first Ripples back in the days.
Please take these in consideration and we will see OKCash go like a 2017 Rippllllll

Thanks for your suggestions, and we agree on most points,
we aim to make Okcash available for everyone and everywhere,
and we believe in providing more options to empower the users,
We are in contact with the tent team so far for the integration and they are supporting Okcash for it as well,
while I understand your concern about the wallet reviews so far, we must understand that their project has gone through different phases,
and with deep upgrades there are always some issues to take in consideration, so far our experience this days by working with them on the integration
has gone pretty smooth and with constant communications, providing us with a feeling of dedication and accessibility, so I would think they are already working in those wallet issues.

They are bringing crypto debit cards to the system integrated coins as well, which would provide the Okcash users with another tool to empower themselves,
hence, thinking in the reward/risk scenario for the users/system, we decided to support the integration and collaboration, of course we will help test the system as well
and different team members from the community will help to support the OK users if required over the OK community Discord, as you know we take risks to grow and empower the users,
but we do also prioritize on the users experience and safety, hence there s always a chance to achieve consensus or remove / support and fix an issue within the OK environment and community.

We will definitely support and push for more coming integrations after this one, and will request to integrate OK to the Exodus wallet as well as to other services, everyone in the community can also help with the requests and social engagement asking for it to the different services, we can all make it happen.
Thanks for your feedback and support to the community.

Hey guys,

Has been some kind of change in the format of the keys lately ?
I'm trying to import a PK from an old account to the latest OKCASH wallet.
and it says it's wrong (Invalid private key (code -5))

I've checked the key and it does come from the Public Address my coins are in.
So what does that mean?  Roll Eyes

Hello i see Okcash has exist since 6 years and the reward of block staking is 22%  for this year and half of next year it's very very interesting, can you tell me how much i can win earn over 1 month if i invest $150? Is it really $33?

Welcome to Bitcointalk! No $33 reward is not guaranteed for several reasons.

1) The block reward is earned based on the weight you have on the blockchain, the more Okcash you have, the more weight you have.

2) $ price and rate fluctuation can be + or -

22% is also the yearly rate, not monthly.

hello, any plan to list on a bigger exchange? and are you promoting this coin except on twitter?
