Congrats ! Hopefully this will cause some movement in OKCash. It's a really nice coin and is very fast and the staking is seemless.
Really always thought, that it should be a top 100 coin. Hopefully you guys do some marketing. It's a perfect coin and name. Just needs more exposure.
Here's to a great future!

Totally agree with you, it works real fast and I think is one of the most reliable and efficient chains out there, for sure it should be over the top 100 coin,
and by being fully decentralized, it is another real advantage, but at the same time just like with Bitcoin on its start, it depends on the same community most of the marketing as there are no foundations or centralized government of the chain, every day it reaches more people, but this could get better, none the less a real piece of art chain, fast and efficient and rewarding to all users.

bought it when it was  approx 0.052 euro cent l begin( feb/march) last year! since then not much growth!

.. nice community and good coin but to make it 1 dollar coin or higher.. needs more to be done!...

couple of  tweets or retweets makes this coin not big..  i hope this coins doesn't stay under the 0.20 dollar cent under the ongoing or upcoming bullrun!  this

coin i believe is much more  then  a Day trading coin.

Now you can see #OKCash at Bittrex. Volume and Price is a grow up. Its still good to trade. Many time i make a profit with OKCash. Just Patient I believe Its Will Be Too Moon for next day

I want to share my experience with OkCash, trading is great but with okcash staking is really profitable. Even when the market was down my stakes were arriving on time. I am still holding on to OkCash. I will suggest everyone to start staking if you are not staking yet. So many of your coins are in exchanges, it is better you put them in your desktop wallet and start staking. There are two big benefits of doing this 1) your coins will be more safer than exchanges because you will keep them in your desktop wallet. 2) you will hold your coins in wallet and earn stake rewards from it.

I wish you luck

and every Linux distro with the new AppImage Releases!

https://github.com/okcashpro/okcash/releases/latest
OK V6.9 codename: Aether

Aether
(/Aithḗr/) is the personification of the "upper sky". He embodies the pure upper air that the gods breathe, as opposed to the normal air (ἀήρ, aer) breathed by mortals.

   - Fix for segmentation fault on new systems.
   - Fix for mac OSX compilations makefile.
   - Removal of okchat GUI (not really been used by the community, we are making space for new features, system still in place, we can bring it back if users request/reach consensus)
   - Code synt improvement.

---
Instructions for previous clients:

From v6 clients

Close your Okcash client, replace it with the v6.9.0.5 , open your client and you are done.

From old clients (v1-2-3-4-5)

Close your Okcash client, replace it with the v6.9.0.5 , open your client, let it reindex the chain (one time only, takes 3 hrs aprox. the wallet will close itself when done) check your wallet is closed, open it and you are done.
(If cant sync or don't want to wait for the reindex you can re-download the latest ok-blockchain)

Create and Restore an Okcash HD Wallet
---

When you load the new Okcash HD wallet for the first time, it will create a new HD account for you and set it as default, any new addresses generated will be from the default HD account [unique to you].
However, as this is pre-generated and not easy to remember, we suggest you to proceed to create a new HD account using a mnemonic sentence.

Always backup your wallet.dat first!

              Creating an Okcash HD wallet:

                     1. Turn off the OK Client, save your wallet.dat [Backup] and rename it
                     2. Turn on the latest OK Client
                     3. Create a new Okcash HD wallet[Account] (OK Tools > Get a new HD Wallet) and give it a name
                     4. Go to "OK Tools > Advanced HD config" and make sure the new HD account
you just named is showing as "default"
                     5. Send some Okcash from your old wallet to the new one

Recovering / Restoring an Okcash HD wallet:

                     1. Turn off the OK Client, save your wallet.dat [Backup] and rename it
                     2. Turn on the latest OK Client
                     3. Go to "OK Tools > Import an HD Wallet" and complete the steps
                     4. Go to "OK Tools > Debug Console" and type scanforalltxns 1
                     5. You should see your test transaction showing up

Your new Okcash HD wallet is setup, and the mnemonic sentence + optional password
is all you need to access all new created addresses.

How to run an AppImage on Linux:
---

Before you can run an AppImage, you need to make it executable. This is a Linux security feature. There are three main ways to make an AppImage executable:

1. With the GUI

Open your file manager and browse to the location of the AppImage
Right-click on the AppImage and click the ‘Properties’ entry
Switch to the Permissions tab and
Click the ‘Allow executing file as program’ checkbox if you are using a Nautilus-based file manager (Files, Nemo, Caja), or click the ‘Is executable’ checkbox if you are using Dolphin, or change the ‘Execute’ drop down list to ‘Anyone’ if you are using PCManFM
    Close the dialog
Double-click on the AppImage file to run

2. On the command line

chmod a+x Some.AppImage

Spent the night trying to figure this out. I downloaded the new wallet, synced it up and tried to import my Coinomi Wallet using my seed phrase. No matter what I do the balance shows as zero.

When I do "getwalletinfo" in console it shows the proper balance.

"listaddressgroupings" in console is also accurate and shows the two addresses one with 10K OK and the other with 2499 OK

My staking power is listed as 10000 but my balance is 12499, so it does recognize the coins as staking.

I did the scanforalltxns with the block# of my last transactions 1997291

Has anyone else had similar issues with balances not showing in the app?

I'm running Kubuntu Linux, but the install was easy, and the chain synced right up. I did use the github instant sync https://github.com/okcashpro/ok-blockchain

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Must be for the way AppImage saves itself, maybe create a new address on your wallet, and use coin control to select the coins from those addresses that have coins and send them to the new address so it can reflect the coins properly, as for it being an import, probably just needs to recognize them as a transfer.
Also, have you restarted your wallet after the import, might help.

Thanks, I did restart after the wallet. I'm going to do a test send to another wallet in a minute and see what happens. Weirdest thing.  Thanks for the reply and your help.
