Doing it automatically ensures, that the exchanges are monitored 24/7 and the calculations are executed quickly (and are hopefully correct). Since you have to consider several fees, it's better not to do this with a pocket calculator, or so.

However a global team should be helpful to create bank accounts in various countries, so you can transfer FIAT there and deposit it in local exchanges.

If you can't flow the capitals fast enough it doesn't work because you have to wait for fiat from bank transfers. Isn't it better just to build a team around the globe who can perform arbitrage manually only at different major exchanges? What are your advantages of doing this automatically: speed, reliability, etc...?

I just sent 250 bucks in btc and joined the alpha life time club so hopefully now I will not be a bagholder of coins anymore. I really would be happy to execute trades and even earn 5% on a trade will feel blessed, as long as I am not a constant loser lol. I think this will be my best trading investment. Grin

I am a total noob trader and did my first arb trade on flappy coin yesterday and proudly made 15 bucks profit. Yes I am a small amoeba in the ocean of whales but I am testing the waters so was looking for an arbitrage trading software tool and found you so i am going to come in at the 250 bucks level. By the way I can't afford the 500 one at the moment but is there anyway to buy a silver coin and how much would it cost? Smiley I am not very technical either so will this be easy for non techie girls like me? Smiley.

So do I need to give you my API keys to make it work or it stays with me on my computer?

I like where this project is going -- would you add support for MintPal as well ? Also maybe include the top 20 coins IN VOLUME as that is where some of best opportunities arise

We've been watching MintPal and will probably be looking to add it in the round 2 alpha stage, most likely.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: coin volumes -- definitely!  We're still working on the UI for the charting components, but once that's good to show, I'll throw up a screencap for feedback.

The idea is really nice, however, correct me if I'm wrong, to use arbitrage opportunity you need to move FIAT money too. How are you going to handle this? Does every user need to get money and sent it to another exchange? I don't like the idea to have to wait a week to get fiat and then another week to have it on another exchange to be able to do arbitrage.

Thanks!

Simply put, that's correct.  Issues like the one you've stated largely comes down to what your individual strategy for arbitrage will be.  In your scenario it makes sense (and on the broader scale also) to keep funds available at various exchanges so that you can take advantage of arbitrage possibilities -- of which our platform would watch for and capture.

In the early stages we're focused on creating a unified and simple way to watch for and conduct arbitrage against various exchanges.  As things get spun up, we have a number of possible ways to develop out additional functionality that can potentially better address concerns like yours, but to start, we've got a laser focus on making a simple, unified arbitrage platform -- early feedback from the community will be crucial as to what functionality we focus on developing after that point -- all the more reason to jump in on the indiegogo campaign and be part of the Round 1 Alpha Smiley

is the alpha available yet to those who donate?

Not quite yet -- but the Round 1 Alpha will be available soon.

We've been heavily focusing our development time into back-end integration with exchange APIs thus far and are now this week shifting over to getting the UI of the dashboard ready for the alpha.

As soon as it's ready, we'll be directly emailing backers with instructions and also doing a public announcement.

How does the arbitrage take place? Do you need individual accounts on each external exchange?

We plug directly into the various APIs of the exchanges we integrate with and based on the triggers + strategies you've defined, we execute the arbitrage actions accordingly either automatically or we let you know via alert so you can do it manually if you so desire.

We've also done a recent Q+A where we answer where exactly the points of automation + manual intervention are with the current structure of the platform --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwvDqkOrXLw

You do need an account with each respective exchange that you'd like to execute arbitrage with -- this allows us to focus on providing the best unified arbitrage platform possible without having to be concerned with many of the regulatory issues that come into play when you start handling the movement + holding of funds for users -- our platform simply orchestrates movements that occur directly between your existing accounts -- this doesn't mean this won't be something we might handle down the line, but to get off the ground we're keeping things as elegant as possible on our end.
