Can you also announce this on your official FB page as well?  I was going to post this on your FB Wall, but it's not an available option on your profile.

Watch out for scam http://bitmaintechs.com. See the extra "s" in the URL.

Yup, that fake Bitmain site was brought up here in he forums a few days ago.

Someone clicked on an external link on some Bitcoin wiki site...

Never trust those links on them Wiki sites..anybody can edit them and put anything they want.

Hopefully, no one else gets taken.

Same question again.
So how many people have received the recent S2 batches?

Any feedback about the performance please?

I want to see feedback from people who actually received the miners

S2 thread:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/antminer-s2-discussion-and-support-thread-515448

My guess is that less than 50 units were in batch 1. It sold out quickly and as of know I think I have only seen a half-dozen or so confirmations of delivery, some of which were users that received 3+ units

better everyday ♥
Fixin' to get ready to sell something ain't the same as selling something....I don't get why they don't continue to sell the S1s "like hotcakes" even if they have to allocate some of the chips to keep the sales flow going.

The only logical reason I can think of is that their margin on the S1s at the current selling price is so low that it makes sense to build the quantity of the next batch of S2s (which will presumably sell at a much higher margin).  Gotta tell you (bitmain) that I would rather buy a few S1s at a slightly higher price than invest $3K in the new S2...maybe it's just me...
I have a feeling it has something to do with the current bitcoin price...

Agreed, they're not making profits of the S1 at current BTC price, so they halt all sales.

I remember they mysteriously sold out a month or 2 back due to similiar circumstances, then all the sudden they were available.

So...I'm really confused about bitmain's business model.  Right now they have literally NOTHING for sale...every product is sold out...even U2's in MOQs of 500 are "coming soon".  Does anyone know what's actually going on with these guys?

They are using most of the bm chips for the s2 right now.
