what's going on with this miner?

"more than 80% of pools operators launch their projects without having a minimum of computer knowledge (copy paste)"

Meanwhile, copy/pastes their pool and miner.. I guess it's ok as you're experts  Undecided

Idk any competent developers who call themselves expert and shit on less skilled peers.

Anyhow good luck, hope ya's choose a more positive message.

Its a good miner. Nothing special. No virus that I have found. Not fast as I hoped. (yet ?)

Checked it yesterday and found interesting moments - average hashrate lower than regular ccminer 2.2.6 and 2.3 (lyra2z algo)
Also much lower shares come to pool, not immediately, but after a while (gos.cx)

PS https://www.virustotal.com/ru/file/bfd7395df804fb9c8c750d32de752ee611b8415cc5cd95acc945b5061c5a82c0/analysis/1530102718/

human stupidity wouldn't be cured !!!! I don't  understand why you add a Trojan to the exe and analyze it on virustotal !!!!!

I take the opportunity to ask people to don't trust any link apart our official https://github.com/ourpool/ourminer to download OurMiner.

First , we would like to say that's very bad to receive some feedback attacking our work on incorrect grounds just to harm our image and damage our reputation , we would like to confirm to them that we aren't going to stop working and moving forward, btw we are certain that unfortunately they are part of some unwell competitors.

@jbeck, Thank you for your feedback, we also understand your doubt and fear, but let me tell you one thing:

Ourpool team has developped its first project OurPool.net. thereafter and as already explained we decided to develop our proper Miner with high performances with which we work ourselves and we shared it with everyone to allow them to mine efficiently for free since our goal wasn't earn money from OurMiner but Ourpool.net, we invite you to take a look at ourPool.Net you will have an idea about our work.

Finally I would like to inform our dear miners that we are currently working on a more efficient version and that we are going to pimp it soon.

our pool.   It is unfortunate that you released this work at a time when another miner "Delosminer" was caught stealing and infecting mining rigs.   They also were closed sourced and were also asked to show their work.
In today's time most miners are very skeptical of any closed sourced software.   I understand that you say you have put a lot of effort into your program and dont want it stolen.  You need to understand that this community requires open source work unless you have earned a great deal of trust over years.   If your miner is as good as you say then you should not offer it without fees.  It could look very suspicious.
Do you know the term "too good to be true"?   Well that's what I am thinking.

Getting angry at posters just makes matters worse.  I personalty will not try your software until I see it open or hear from some other trusted publisher that what you have developed is safe.
I feel your pain and frustration but you have to meet us half way.
Good luck with your project.   I am anxious to try your app.

If it’s closed source, assume malware that will steal your coins. Delosminer just got caught doing this and emptying people’s wallets.

If this miner is truly “free” publish the source or else by default this is a piece of malware that will steal everyone’s money.

Stop judging people stupidly !
We have explained the reason and you stay free to work with our solution or not ,even develop your proper miner to be sure that you aren't stolen (even I doubt that you can do it)

I moved back to coolminer. I get better hash rates poolside with coolminer, but I applaud the effort
Me too on Bsod GIN. Then I moved to MCT on gos.cx and everything ok
I come back to coolminer and got a same problem, hash rates report on pool bsod lower than before, maybe bsod issues

found same issue, have switch back CCminer 2.2.5,even slower hash rate at local side, but higher accepted share and hashrate at pool side, have compared with 2 6x1080ti rig with same setting and pool and time.

hope they can fix this in later.

it is absolutely necessary to adjust the difficulty according to your hash, the difficulty for a rig of 6x1080 TI should't be the same for a rig of 6X1070, so you have to adjust the difficulty according to your hash. we recommend to adjust the difficlty manualy and doing the same for intensity according to GPU perfroamances and machine resources.
even if you have an ASIC with 15GH/s and low difficulty you wont have this hash in the pool.
Hoping that's clear !

OurPool team
have tested used same difficicy d=18 on both rigs.
thanks

Tried this and switching back to CoolMiner too. The reported Hashrate on pool side is higher with CoolMiner.

Thanks for the effort!
