Is ParkByte SCAM?
I tried to find ANY answer about Parkbyte for few months now without any result!
The ParkByte official site all the time under "update"
All wallets downloads from Githube is DEAD!
I Downloaded clients from this forum link (v1, 1 (not work)and qt 1.1.1.2(no import keys function i can found)
There no any info about HOW TO USE WALLETS!
Not on they site any info, no anywhere!
There EMPTY TXT. file to download and no any guide, in wallet!
There no any info HOW TO IMPORT keys or sweep!
No Idea if this function exists in the wallet?
if not, why they call it" wallet" after all?!
ParkByte cut Coinomi wallet without any warning to users!
All my funds now is not usable, because I used Coinomi and I have my keys, but they're NO ANY other working wallet with import key option I can find!
I sent a few emails to ParkByte with NO any response!
I fill,They just dump people who trusted them!
So, no working official site, No any support or reliable guide to the soft, no any working contacts to the team, no any active community.
To me it seems like typical SCAM!
Tell me, where I am wrong here?
Let me correct you here, both v1.1 and v1.1.1.2 have a function to import private keys - Help > Debug > Console > importprivkey PRIVKEY [Enter]
There are even prebuilt PKB Electrum releases on GitHub - yes PKB Electrum also has the ability to import private keys!
Coinomi did not give ParkByte or its users any prior notice before the removal of PKB from Coinomi - Yes they contacted me in June asking for 0.5btc worth of PKB but there was absolutely no warning of the date for removal. By using Coinomi, you were using a third party wallet that is no longer opensource! - ParkByte have no control over what third parties do with their software - so perhaps you should be posting on the Coinomi pages.
I do kind of agree with the "no any active community" - If you need help ask in the community forums - there are others that will to help if I, the dev am not available. Sending emails to
[email protected] will likely just be ignored, we receive hundreds of emails a week - The community are here, on twitter and other public media outlets - instead of thinking the Dev team are the only ones that can help why not start posting in public, building the active community the community desire so much.....
