Wink 4000 blocks...

Yep, moving right along.  I've had no issues..

adaseb, do we need anymore servers?  I can spin up another node on Google Cloud if needed.

I think with the blockchain as small as it is right now, with 5-6 different nodes up. I think we are fine for now.

In the future if we grow then maybe we can put up more nodes. Right now however looking at the bandwidth stats, it hardly uses any resources.

I will make a few changes to the wallet, one of them being the hard coded DNS seed nodes and I will add your node, Slava's, and my node. This way if one node goes offline or if the IP addresses change we can easily switch them over to another VPS.

Been very busy lately and really wish more people responded to the "bounty ads" because it would be really nice if someone could finish the main ANN and make it cleaner and more professional looking. The only requests I got was for translations however right now there is nothing to translate really. Most of the text in the main post should be removed. I don't even have Photoshop installed just been using those free logo creators found online and its really taking a long time to make some simple changes.

At least the difficulty is low so all our small miners can mine. The hashrate is like 5 GHS which is a huge difference from the peak of 250GHS that we experienced in the first week of mining.

PS, some of the miner names are hilarious!

I did not get to run the miner, can somebody make a screenshot of how to do? toutorial

Which miner are you using ?

PascalCoin_OpenCL_ProxyMiner_v1

Go to your Project -> Options and choose a name that's 8 letters in length like "adaseb00"

Then open up PascalProxyv2 and put in

127.0.0.1
4009
NUMBER OF GPUS
adaseb00

Then run PascalCoinOpenCL_ProxyMiner.exe like so
PascalCoinOpenCL_ProxyMiner.exe d0 p0 i21 c50

Everybody add these nodes
Project -> IP Nodes

178.150.3.240:4004
35.165.16.168:4004
54.201.174.69:4004

Close wallet and reopen.

Because for some reason the main node is sending (no data) now

EDIT: Should be fixed now, I've rebuild the blockchain on the main node and it synced perfectly with the others.

how long it takes to connect to the node?

Should be instant. Close and reopen wallet.

still no block explorer?

Block explorer is built in the wallet

yeah it was a typo i'm a bit tired, i mean there is no exchange no not block explorer..., we should begin to do trading about this coin to build the market, if there is not an exchange for the time being a thread on the market should work

We can do the off the market trading thread like in the previous coin. Who would like to volunteer and moderate it?

still no block explorer?

Block explorer is built in the wallet

Node 178.150.3.240 - up and running.

how to connect to a node? should I choose.  Try to connect only with this server?

It should automatically connect to the main node

Node 178.150.3.240 - up and running.

Is it allowing inbound 4004 connections and did you allow it thru the firewall? I can't seem to find it on the network
Yes, my firewall is off. In my microtik maked port forwarding to my PC. Inet IP fixed. To me connected 10 clients and 3 servers.

My advice is don't mine with the newer PascalMiner 0.2. For some reason you can't find any blocks with it or you find very little compared to the older proxy miner by Volks. Either that or I just got extremely bad luck within the last 24 hours/

But you can only mine with the older R9 280X / 290 / 270x GPUs with that program.

The 0.2 miner seems to work for me, so perhaps you just had a run of bad luck. You're making up for it now though.       Wink

It's fun mining blocks - any blocks - even more fun somehow if they are not worth much, not a biz. Takes me back to 2011. Ya never know.

For me it also works but the amount of blocks it finds is only 25% of what my other rigs , which are also the same speed. Maybe the reported speed isn't accurate. No idea

Are you using the proxy miner by Volks?

Yeah with my older GPUs like the 7970/280x.

I can't use the Volks miner with my RX so for those I used 0.2

hmmm, can't seem to figure out how to get it to work with the wallet isn't on the same computer.  I've got an RX480 rig that I will continue to use v0.2, but was going to try the proxy miner on my R9 290 rig..  Anyone successfully get it connected to a wallet on another pc?

I use a different wallet for each rig, I don't know how to connect to another PC only 127.0.0.1

hi, you use PascalCoin_OpenCL_ProxyMiner_v1?  i cant run proxy miner. how you run proxy miner?
Yes that;s what I use.

Run the proxy first and then the miners. One miner for each GPU.
