Hello guys, need some help from the best community around Smiley

This weekend I've tried to setup myself a masternode @home based on a Raspberry Pi3 with Noobs.
I'm still a newbie at cryptocoin and also with advanced Linux stuff. So I'm asking if someone has a nice step-by-step guide to config a MN based on visual QT.exe avoiding this way the more complex Linux command things.

I've also a PC staking some addition coins with a QT wallet, which I would like to see remotely my masternode status from there.

The stuff related to router, port forwarding 51472 is already done.

Any help?
thank you very much!

Surprised! Got my first stake in a week from my only 400 coins!

Of course, I will buy some more on a dip Smiley

how much did you get?Cheesy

pivx is future coin! 10$ this year
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B98M_VT3Llo

I support that! After stabilizing we will see a new ATH!

I'm a holder and setting up my second masternode in a couple of days Cheesy

you host them yourself or work with hosting service?

I Host them myself on virtual machines, don't trust online hosting  Tongue

you know that you don't store any coins on remote masternode?
if the hoster is scam your mn service maybe will go down and you maybe loose some prepaid fees but you can't loose any pivx

just to make this clear for all new noders i see here

btw. i use vultr hosting for about year now with quite a few nodes without any major problems. sure i had to resync some nodes here and there but thats all

not sure where you live but in my country i can't run a 5 nodes instance for 5 bucks/month (1$/month/masternode). i would pay al lot more for power costs alone. not considered hw costs ...
you will also have a hard time if you don't have a static ip and you need one ip for any node

but a node is a node  Grin.  if you like to host @ home just gor for it

I want to setup a masternode, dont find the hardware requirements.

Is a ubunto x64 server with 512 mb memory  and 1 cpu good enough?

THX!

yes.

256mb ram 1 single core cpu and ~25GB HD should work with ubuntu.

5 instances on same vps working out very fine on vultr with the following plan:
25 GB SSD $5/mo $0.007/h 1 CPU 1024MB Memory (you get more than enough ipv6 with any plan & you need a static ip for any masternode/instance)

happy masternoding

IS 20 GB Disk also possible 4 ubuntu masternode or is that so small?

should work depends on the ubuntu installation (swap part.) and programms ofc (libre office and stuff)

for further clarification what aspect of the shitcoin in question would you like me to elaborate on ?

You're evidently not in a position to elaborate on anything substantive, I'd be remiss if I taxed you further. Subscribers to this thread will be in no doubt as to how to assess your utterances.

I will take you unwillingness to debate , as evidence of your submission to my superior knowledge in said topic

shall we discuss the delusional notion that polonex will add a coin that has a built in api pointing to a competing exchange .

need help, after opening and loading local wallet nothing happens, it previously asked me about some databases and I clicked yes, I tried running it as an administrator but after loading nothing really happens, thanks

go to pivx data dir, delete all except wallet.dat, peers.dat and all conf files
(don't forget to backup your wallet regularly)

download official Blockchain Backup Snapshot here
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18413639

extract to pivx data dir, start pivx wallet again and you should be fine

for more help visit slack or off forum

the problem with corrputed chain has high priority atm for devs afaik

Cheers
