Hello,

How many coins will be issued in total?

Thanks

Hi! PIVX does not have a fixed cap. Coin supply will increase by approx 2.6 million per year.

what happens when your dynamic IP address changes?

does your masternode continue to run using the old  IP address in pivx.conf ?

Are you using a dynamic IP for a masternode IP?

Looks awesome. Be nice if we really do have a banner spot on Coinmarketcap. Massive exposure there.

What do you mean? That was the screenshot of the actual coinmarketcap website with our banner showing.

Fantastic! Thought that was a mockup. CMC is the absolute best place to have the banner.

Another good news. This time for scrypt miners!

Scrypt multi-pool https://prohashing.com is adding PIVX as a payout coin!
We expect them to add it within the next day or two. Spread the word. Smiley
So nwo miners can mine the most profitable scrypt coin and get paid PIVs!

As for getting added to Poloniex, we will be targeting them soon enough.

We need to be well prepared before being added to the major exchanges and I feel we aren't quite ready yet.

But we are getting closer every day. (new ANN translations, website content, guides, videos etc)

If you are able to help with any guides, videos, new content etc, please let us know or just create them. Grin

Are we really going to wait until Sept 17 to implement the libzercoin protocol? I feel that this should be the number 1 development priority.

main thing is so it works correctly for if it does I envision jump to 5 8 mill mc

great choice, "Our scheme is secure assuming the hardness of the Strong RSA and Discrete Logarithm assumptions, and the existence
of a zero-knowledge proof system"

will be fun running master nodes flowing thru the network this type of encrypted pockets! money aside this is just cool

would be patient for I am telling you if this works.. we are golden

More time to accumulate I guess.
Hope there are POLO negotiations happening in the background. They would be very wise to list PIVX.

No, we aren't waiting for that date, that is a limitation of the plug-in being used presently. it will not accept TBD as an option. We are presently looking for a better plug-in, and then that will be fixed.

I keep getting stuck on block 259364.  I am running v2.1.4.0 on Ubuntu 16.

These are the errors in the debug.log:

I have already ask for help in the PIVx forum https://forum.pivx.org/  (thanks Jakiman for the answers) but as the problem seems a bit more complicated than I think I will try to get help here, with more users usually.
I have made an instalation of MN's in Vultr following DRDP scrypt(thanks for the scrypt, mate, and thanks also to marsmensch). And all seems to work very well till I try to start missing (or alias and one by one, I have tested both) I receive this kind of message always:
Alias: MNalias
Failed to start masternode.
Error:Invalid IP address,
masternode=MNcolateraloutputhere-colateralindexhere

Any line on my mn conf file look like this:
Alias [2001:19f0:6c01:358::1]:51472 Privkeyishere colateraloutputishere colaterailindexbitishere

Wallet is the las official release of PIVx, and MN's are some old MN's from darknet I have stopped and deactivated in the old servers and I'm trying to run in this. Has any of you suffered (and solved) this problem?

Thanks

I had this problem and I couldnt solve it.
For me I got this error, when the IP address was out of reach (I thought)
If you keep trying, it connects fine after some restarts of the wallet.

Also it connected fine, if you try it from the console, in my case.
Open the debug console and type
masternode start-missing

Hope this helps.
Nodes restarted typing masternode start-missing from the console. Lot of thanks, .cryptic..
I would still keep an eye on it and see if it goes missing after a while.
