Also do an hardware test, highly unlikely that the upgrade leads to a bluescreen. I will do upgrade mine tomorrow and report back.

Having issues with the v2 windows wallet... 64 and 32 bit crash on boot.
Do i need to completely uninstall the previous version and start fresh?

This version is not an installer.

The same happened to me, blue screen and that; i'm not an expert but, yes, you have to uninstall the previous version and then run the v.2. Before that, don't to forget to make a backup copy of the wallet and the rest of files, Darknet.conf and masternode.conf on C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\DarkNet just in case. That's what I did and mine is working ok now.

The same for me. Do we have any working solution for fixing this problem?

You need to delete everything except the darknet.conf, masternode.conf and wallet.dat and restart the wallet

nice one major_coiner, i figured as much but wasn't sure if another installer would be available first.

NOPE.... still not working Sad crashes on startup still...

I uninstalled it in windows from Home menu->Control panel->Unistall a program and there I unistalled the Darknet 64 core. Did you uninstalled that way?

i used the uninstaller that came with the install... :/

Wallet synced ok, MN's synced ok, but I haven't received last payment from zpool's wallet, maybe it's only a matter of wallet syncing but I'm a bit concerned about it.
On the other hand, havr you see volume and order book in Bittrex? Looks really promising.

payments take a bit longer after update i imagine

good volume i agree  Wink

You were totally correct, everything seems to be working very fine now. Time to wait for a really smooth pass to POS. Smiley

git clone https://github.com/Darknet-Crypto/Darknet
cd Darknet
./autogen.sh
cd depends
make
cd ..
./configure --prefix=`pwd`/depends/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
make

thats for ubuntu 14.4 64 bit

works for me ..no syncing problems...im on version 2
and masternode is running!

Indeed. The obvious solution is to compile it from source yourself.

However, with many instances below 512MB RAM and even with a SWAP file above 1GB RAM compiling can take a while.  Smiley
I can provide updated ubuntu (source) packages for 14.04 and 16.04 when there is enough interest.

Edit: Just too make it extra-clear. I am talking about proper source packages for multiple Ubuntu/Releases and not binary-packages.

You can obtain these by following the apt instructions on the OP as well.
Yes, i was looking at them. Thats why i wrote "proper", the packaging only works because you removed all debhelpers. Nevermind, i guess it will be ok Cheesy

When typing in the "masternode list-conf" and "masternode start-missing" commands, my client locks up on me. Any idea why this is happening?

You should allow your wallet to fully sync and acclimate before trying to run those commands.

What do you mean by acclimate? The wallet was fully sync'd when I entered those commands.
There are many things going on behind the scenes, if you start entering commands as soon as the wallet shows as sync'd especially 'start-missing' you may experience issues. It may also depend on the system you are running the wallet on and if you are doing anything else on the same system at that time.

I left it on overnight and it's still doing it. It's on an i7-2600 with 16GB RAM and 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD.

It's crazy how I still see a Wallet/Masternode pop up and still be running v1.0.2.1... thats OLD!!

That's why I like wallets that have a notification in them when a new version is out Wink

For those syncing tens of coins, they're not going to be checking every thread and webpage every day to make sure they are up to date.

But a notification inside the wallet however..  Cool

New question,

my one masternode has a unique but dynamic external ip.
so the external ip changed, my wallet still says the masternode is running fine,
but when using masternode status command, it still lists the old external ip under service.
Will this be an issue?
It may be, you should use static Ip's
